Concerta

I just got perscribed concerta in 18mg tablets, will prolly have to move up to 36mg, im wondering what the effects are and personal experiences.

Heh..heh. Oh, concerta.

1x 36mg, no reduction:

Stayed up all night working on projects I've put off too long, mostly electronics, some programming. Kept feeling like I needed to be doing something right now. Boredom didn't exist because everything was interesting, but I felt seriously weird trying to sit still and waste time. Started taking apart my car, trying to fix a speaker. Fixed two with the help of a soldering iron, but found out the third was a blown speaker and not just a loose wire. Put it all back together (unfixed ). Went to school, went the whole day without feeling like I lacked sleep, and crashed comfortably at 10 PM. Wanted another in the morning, but denied myself. Kept craving it for another day or two, but further denial fixed it. Not necessarily withdrawal, just wanted another because I liked having so much time in the day (night).

Concerta is time-release, unless you dissolve the time-release in water before taking it.
I would hate to see what Ritalin is like, if Concerta affected me that much >_>

Well i took my meds today, felt really like twitchy? but WIDE awake, in classes that i normally would be asleep, then when i got hokme at around 5 i crashed untill 7, so yea.

I might try that sometime but i heard like, one half can be reaaaallly bad for you while the other half is legit.

I've been taking it for a couple years now, 56mg if i remember correctly. I've never felt a difference, the only thing I notice is that I may be tired as hell but I can't fall asleep when I use it, like in school or work when I have to wake up early but can't sleep. One of the other side effects is an appetite suppressant but if I'm hungry I'm hungry whether I've taken it or not. The only difference is that when I am on concerta some of the food I would normally eat, and even love to eat, would just seem disgusting, so I wouldn't eat.

Those are the only 2 things I've ever noticed taking it, but I continue to take it. I've never noticed any of the things its supposed to help.

Really? I didnt take it today, because i want to conserve....

I also tend to get annoyed and aggravated at things a lot easier.

I don't take it everyday usually because I forget and I usually end up taking it when I have to wake up early or have a long day of classes or something. I have tons of it backed up.

I was realllly happy when i took it.

thats what I was hoping, everyone wants adderall not concerta though
