Re: The reason behind your screen name
For an art project, The Popmobile, that i build with some friends we all got ordained online. I used it for email and such and it is just easy to use for forums. BTW, i have married 2 couples and am currently batting 500 in that dept. Although the second one is always sketchy.

I am a drug addict.....
Well not really. My life outside of skateboarding involves a serious amount of working on cars and drag racing. Cars more or less consume my life...it's great. There is no substitute for adrenaline in my mind hence the name.

Re: The reason behind your screen name
Back in the early 1980s (If you can remember living in that era), I was in this breakdance touring group. Yeah.. OMG, I could breakdance!! And we had to pick nick names. I couldn't think of one so my cousin picked Lady K. My name is Khai and I'm a lady.. so hence the name. I still use it to this day on forums.

Re: The reason behind your screen name
My son thinks it's cute to refer to me as old and broken (he is 22 and completely bulletproof) .
I broke my elbow pretty good when I first got my Carveboard so my right arm is kinda fukked even after surgery.
My thumbs are both not set in where they belong so they hurt from abuse.
I've had my apendics & gall bladder removed.
I've had two hernia surgeries.
I limp around in the morning for the first little bit until things start flowing and stretching.
I had three discs removed from my neck 6 months ago and they put in a titanium plate and eight screws to hold together four neck vertebrae.......
and I'm old.
but I still kick ass and take names.8)

Re: The reason behind your screen name
This is my gaming name and had it for awhile. Wanted to something really mean and threatening for online play. Figured everyone had mean names and all so i thought about an original and pretty real name. I mean if u saw someone walk over a kick a puppy u'd say that guy is mean and screwed up. Hence, PuppY_K1ck3R. BTW, my real name is Jumbo. I sh!t u not.

My name is a gnarly local hill with a 3-lane road. This is the hill to bomb if you want some reputation in Helsingborg.

Re: The reason behind your screen name
My nickname has been Bam Bam for the past 10 or so years.
So one thought it would be funny to change the first two letters of my fore and surnames around, thus - Sam Benson = Bam Senson. Then it changed to Bam Benson cause Senson sounded strange, then it just became Bam Bam.
The End

Re: The reason behind your screen name
No Freakin way! Bam Bam, your name is the result of Cockney Rhyme style manipulation?
Dude, that is awesome. That is a linguistic phenomena (the whole idea) that boggles the mind.
And extra cool since that sort of thinking used to be like theives/assassins guild language.
Anyway, mine is what it is just because I pay people to scribble in my skin.

Re: The reason behind your screen name
My screen name was thought up on the fly so I could read and browse the forums. Cosmiccase is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. I would have choosen just Case because my name is Casey but people call me Case. But Cosmic was referanced the Cosmic series on S9. Stupid I know. Hey mods want to change my name to Case? Please?

First name that came to me when I started gaming was WonderBread. It stuck and I use it for just about everything on the net.

Re: The reason behind your screen name
I used to drive a couple of hours to Bells Beach and/or Winki Pop on my own to have a bit of a surf. One time I saw this feral hippie (with long dreadlocks, 'heavily' unshaved, grubby pants/clothing, the works) actually camping out on the beach under a makeshift tarp. There was an old rusty van up the cliffs where the carpark is, I assume that was his and that must be his ride into town when he needed supplies, whatever that might entail. He was at Bells everytime I went back, must've been a couple of months at least. I was surprised nobody from the local council kicked him off the beach because you're not really allowed to camp out on the beach like that much less have a campfire (which I saw evidence of). But boy could he tear up a wave, a power surfer he was, a hard carving style with powerful cutbacks that sent sheets of whitewater into the air behind him.
It got me thinking about who he is and where he came from. He could've been a corporate executive on 3 months leave, left everything he had in his penthouse apartment and just roughed it out on the beach simply for the love of surfing in the early hours of the morning before anybody else turned up, a trip perfectly timed to catch the seasonal waves streaming into Bells and the whole South Eastern coast of Australia. Or maybe he really was a nomadic bum that travelled up and down the coastline of Australia searching for the ultimate spiritual surfing experience. The bum surfer.
I am not anywhere near who is he or what he can do on a wave. So maybe 'rum' would do it. I'm more likely to sit back and sip on a couple of shots of hard liquor poolside in a lazyboy chair in the tropical sun. I was almost newbie poser compared to his dedication to the raw surfing lifestyle. I'll just stick to being a rumsurfer. Cos I was a much better drinker than I was a surfer. And besides, I still can't surf a decent wave without wiping out.
I never got a chance to speak with that bum surfer before he disappeared.
