best back pack

okay so i have been looking for a nice backpack to take on those long summer nights that can hold everything while i ride. any suggestions? or should i try to make my own?

how much stuff are you trying to hold? Just your phone keys and wallet, or a lot of things?

I want it to be universal, wen summer hits I'm ganna be going all over so I would wan something that I could add stuff to( water pouch, clips for helmet and other stuff) so I'm not sure. I also want it to be comfortable and supportive. I was thinking about making my own if I couldn't find one

If you have the skills you could make one, that would be pretty cool. But if not, I would buy something like a hiking day pack from a place like REI or EMS. Packs made by skate companies are made to look cool and hold a board and THATS IT. I have a day pack I have used for a while and its great for carrying stuff when I skate. I don't think EMS makes it anymore, otherwise I would post a link. Hiking packs are also going to be the most comfortable and the best for your back. Stuff by The North Face is good, but expensive. Kelty is another good brans, I have an old Kelty pack from the 70's that was my Dad's and its still nice. Hope this helps!

Protip: If you go the hiking back pack route, make sure you get some duct-tape (or something) to secure straps and clips. I shredded a strap from my day pack (molle style) when pulling a coleman, the strap got caught in a wheel. Sketchy to say the least.

i am designing one right now, hopefully it works. it would be nice if they made one but like you said there supposed to look cool and carry a board. a hiking pack would be that but i thas to be light. let me see what i can draw up and ill get back to you guys for comments.

ive gone the big bag route.. and im goin twords the lighter end of stuff. its REALLY easy to turn a midsize pack into a slingbag..
but i find that when you get your comfortable bag picked.. decide what you really do & dont need and go from there. yeah its nice to have something for every situation.. but that **** is heavy and if you lose it youre ****ed. survival stylee is the only way to go.
