I hadnt done a kickflip since 1989 and once I got back into skating tried it. Landed it with both feet on the board on the first try but I was a little off ballance leaning back and then the board shot out from under me and I fu#ked up my wrist. Tricks are for kids and get a haircut you dirty hippy!

(kidding about the hair, wishing I could still rcok the longhair, but it looks silly when youre grey.)

Oops, good thing you were on the grass.. Tricks are for FUN! I just love the reaction you get from the Kickflippers when you oldschool flip a longboard. You almost always hear: "How did you do that?"

That's how I learned to ollie and kickflip- on grass. I remember trying so many times before I could get each of them. I can't really kickflip anymore but still can ollie pretty good, I just don't practice them enough.

hahahahaha!! Classic!! Damn I need to try a kickflip again sometime...never really got them right back in the day...I could heelflip just fine....but kickers just never gelled with me...gonna try them again...but on grass first!
