    Default Power Outage

My heart goes out to all those in New England and surrounding area who are going through the giant black outs there. Hope y'all get through it (even though that if you read this it's obvious that you have)

Just think....it's a chance for a really nice long night skate

Hope all in the area get the power back real soon!

Do you suppose there'll be an increase in the birthrate in 9 month's time in the area? Well, people gotta do something while they can't watch telly etc.

Buy your stocks in flux risers while they're cheap guys.
But mom remember the black out when I almost cracked my head open cause I couldn't see past my nose and biffed? Yeah THAT's why I NEED these things!
With the black out this stock could be more and more worthwhile.

On another note...I'm glad my life doesn't revolve around an electronic pastime and that I can longoboard anytime.

I'm in downtown toronto right now. We are on emergency generator here at work, so we have power and internet. And free ice cream, given to us by a shopkeeper. It's pretty surreal- almost totally dark, except for cars and people with flashlights. Very weird. Almost expect to see zombies, and stuff. Now I'm going to bike home..

in a land with no power tools and electronics, the amish would rule. but power's back on, and they're shafted with churning butter.

yeah man, out here in the wilds of canada its more normal to have a power outage than not to. all our lamps are candle and our computer is hand-crank powered.

no man, headtorch's are a no-go. bigtime. rely on your night vision... a headtorch will mess it up completely and you won't be able to see more than a few feet. i had this exact problem like an hour ago. no full-moon either , and fog

i wear yellow-lensed sunglasses for riding at night....i look like a loser...but whatever, i like them

headtorches work, but not in the fog...its because the light reflects off the water or some crap....thats why you use low beams instead of high beams in the car
