Yea that sounded like a typical Ajax quote. You play the video game? MAD FUN!!!!!!!
Also, has anyone else heard about a Warriors remake? I hear MTV is making it in California. Its gonna blow big time.
i have the game and its one of my all tine favorites. i have the xbox version but it wont play on my xbox 360. so i found out why, microsoft has to program the backwards compatability for every xbox game ever. it really sucks cuz i dont have a regular xbox anymore so i cant play it. ive been waiting to play it for about a year now.
and i saw something about the remake on imdb. nothing will match the original.

I'll shove that bat up your ass and turn you in to a popcicle"
- Ajax
Top Dialogue
Hey ton,
"Im gonna take those Popsicle sticks, shove them up your asses and turn you two into a Twin Choc."
Thats what I woulda said to your 2 "friends".
Ah, yes, Frankenhooker (wanna date quote), I almost forgot about the Hennenlotter movies. Dang, I should've mentioned those first. I once did a paper for a film class on Hennenlotter and how three of his movies are about a man's struggle with his, ...ummm.... second lesser brain (phallus). The theme runs through the movies Frankenhooker, Brain Damage, and Basketcase ( and 2 and 3). I got an A+ in that class, I think I still have the paper somewhere too.

I was going to add it all the fimls up, to make one big list, but the edit button is no longer there. The way it is set up currently is still great, with people adding their favorites then discussing the movies with others on later posts........its great to see all the opinions on films that are geared towards the actual movie (plot, story, ect) than a huge budget movie that sucks (Armaggeddon, etc)
Thanks for posting and keep it up,
Brian
PS: Many users seem to not understand what a cult classic is, for me I discovered the explanation of a cult classic, quoted by none other than Bruce Campbell.
"Mainstream film = 100,000 people seeing a single film 10 times
Cult film = 10 people seeing a single film 100,000 times."
k-lee,
thought you would've known a few of those quotes,
There was a "send more cops" in ROTLD wasnt there?
Yeah, I actually knew about 6 or 7 of those quotes, but most people had already figured them out by the time I caught up with the thread. Damn schoolwork!!!
not that cultish, but here we go
"You know, I'm wondering what is in the bag"

oh man, how did I forget Eraserhead!!!
Last spring I wrote a treatment for a film project called Young E-head about the teenage life of Henry before he grew up. It's pretty whacked out.
Anyone seen this? You pull the lever and Marv says "Lets go, I aint got all night"
Then he vibrates and lights up, it stopps and he goes "Is that all ya got? ya Pansies?"
and gets another shock.
Its vibration is wicked.
So my fiend is over from Sydney at the moment, and we thought lets watch Marvs bit from the film.
Its gotta be the best bit of Sin City. Elijah Wood is creepy too.
I reckon if it wasnt for Marv, I wouldnt love this film so much. But because of Marv, I think this is one of may all time favourite films.
Yes, it is a damn good movie, but I wouldnt quite call it a "cult classic". Now, the book was. It really is amazing what you can do with black and white.
If you want to get into older, classic comic movies, who remembers the original Punisher movie with Dolph Lundgren?

Yeah, Frank Miller is excellent. Have you seen the Apple trailer of 300?
Its Frank Millers version of the story of the 300 Spartans at Thermopalae. http://www.apple.com/trailers/wb/300/hd/
I bought the grapic novel in a hardcover and its really nice. The movie looks awesome, kind of like they've taken the graphic design style of the comic more seriously, like Sin City.
I never saw the Dolf version of Punisher, but I loved Punisher War Journal the comic, back in the day.
Saw the other Punisher that came out the other year. It was Ok. I loved his car with the bullet proof shutter, wish he didnt trash it so quickly. But apart from that and the bad guy with the guitar, it was a bit average.
Is it worth gettin Dolphs version out?

hah yeah. I suppose it wasnt that bad.
I think I've got a different view of cult movies. I've been sort of going on about b-grade movies that I like. I know that a Cult Movie is sort of different than that, and a "Cult Classic" is another step up from those as well, but I just love b-grade films that don't try to be a mainstream film, or those films that at least know that they aren't a cinema masterpiece and just go along for fun and cheap thrills/ laughs.
I love a film that is entertaining and obviously made for a lot less that a Hollywood A-list flick. Napolean Dynamite is a good example. I loved the simplicity of the film, the fact that Napolean was a real nerd, and the cheapness of it. Its not everones cup of tea, but people like me that like it, have watched it maybe a half dozen times.
Now there is the complete opposite of a B-grade movie, and that is a Hollywood blockbuster. The worst thing that can happen in a big name film is that you have all of these top names who cant seem to drag the entertainment level up to meet the expectations of the film. An A-grade film has to be good enough to stand up to all of its own hype, (and lets face it, they rarely do)
I love below standard films that are made with total disregard as to what critics may think, and just have fun. Plus I love the Super low buget flicks like Toxic Avenger and Bad Taste, that prove that big names and huge budgets don't guarantee entertainment.
So to me a cult film is a b-movie that appeals to a smaller group of FANATICS. It doesn't matter if its good or bad, and it doesn't matter if other people think its trash, its a film that YOU like, watch over and over, and has some hard core fans out there, ...somewhere.
I see a lot of good movies mentioned some "cult-classics" some not, most good though...
however I did not see mentioned:
Near Dark (vampire flic with Bill Paxton and Lance Henrickson)
Pump up the Volume (not really sure if this counts, but it should)
Gleaming the Cube? (come on this IS a skateboard forum)
Heathers (ok ok, enough Slater movies)
Wizards (and all other Ralph Bakshi animated flics such as Street Fight)
Rock and Rule (great cheesy animated movie with Debbie Harry voice)
The Holy Grail? ( I am HOPING this was mentioned already and I just missed it)
All other Monty Python
Altered States

still gotta give mention to Lebowski......
Yes!! Heathers was a flippin excellent movie!!
I've seen half of the ones you've mentioned. Gonna have to see the rest.
Holy Grail is my python of choice, but all of the MP flicks are fantastic!
What did you think of the Heavy Metal Movie? Seen that?
Heavy Metal (the original NOT the crappy 2000 one) was great!!
Mate, I'm so outa the loop, I didnt realize there was a remake. It was completely different right? They didnt try and do the whole thing over again did they? (with some crap year 2000 3D effects)
