that bitch had it coming. he clearly warned her he would use force and that dumbass decided it would make him want to let her go if she kept screaming like an obnoxious ####### 4 year old. #### like that like pisses me off, and there are all those "pigs use too much excessive force" supporters out there, so this guy gets beef for things that he didn't even want to do. i hate this kind of ####.

Resisted arrest. She was charged for battery before the cop took her in. She also bit him.

I couldnt watch it.
But I dont think that sort of force is called for on a 15 yo girl.
Maybe save the pepperspray for someone a bit more dangerous.

Wow. To listen to this video is quite disturbing. When you have a cop telling you to put your hands behind your back, just do it. I mean, is she scared? Most absolutely, but to resist arrest only makes problems worse. In the end, it's her fault for getting pepper sprayed. End of story.

there is like 3 in my neighborhood and down the street
that all they do is sit around with the laser beams
and give soccer moms tickets
they have nothing better to do?

As for the vid, how long is he supposed to wait for her to calm down while she wrestles and bites at him? He subdued her enough to get her under control, and diffuse a difficult and stressful situation (for both the girl and the officer) as quickly as possible. He didn't use any force that would have long lasting effects, that I could tell, and he gave her plenty of time to cooperate.

If she had calmed down and cooperated and was just standing there quietly, and then he'd hit her or peppered her out of nowhere, that would be excessive. Or, if he'd shot her three times when a pepper spray would have done, that would be excessive. Why do people have such a hard time seeing the difference?

Age does not matter. Race does not matter. Patriot act had nothing to do with it. She resisted arrest and she bit him. If she bit me I would have done a lot worse.

Did she think he would eventually give up or something? Maybe her parents spoiled her and she's just used to getting her way when she throws a tantrum.

i think there should be zero tolerance for unsafe driving. it should be a top priority for police.

and then they'll have less time to bust us

Life lesson: When you're bent over a cop car and being cuffed, don't resist arrest. If you're so inclined, fight it in court otherwise, you better like a face full of pepper.
