Flaming crashes are way better than successful launches as long as nobody gets hurt.

haha, exactly. That was pretty spectacular--it got up far enough to give the flaming wreckage a nice satisfying tumble on the way down.

It made me throw the metal sign and say "awesome" out loud, it was a quality explosion.

Here's a higher res look at the x-wing. Man, that's badass. I'm not a huge starwars fan, but the detail of the fighter was pretty cool...down to the moving R2-D2 in the back
