    Default Looking for a camcorder

    I'm looking for a camera that takes decent videos so I can record my friends and me skating.
    Do any of you know of such a camcorder thatisnt incredibly expensive?

    i was also looking for one.. an hd camcorder that could possibly record dvd quality video. under around 1200usd... i've seen some sony's, anyone else got any ideas?

    hmm I guess Im just gonna stick with Video 8 handycam

    ive got a sony HDV camcorder. it works great. the lens is even a little better than other brands like JVC.

    also if you want to buy that nice of a camera also buy a good editing software, i have sony vegas platinum (130 i think?)

    premier and final cut are good. I just personally like Vegas (it is made by sony). And platinum edits HD videos aswell, i dont know which versions of premier or final cut do.

    i have the sony HDR-UX5 i think? it is 900, cheapest HD camera you will find.

    (for the other guy) -you got it for free how....illegal?


    (for the other, other guy)- an HD camera will shoot at a minumum of 60 fps. but with any HD camera you can change it to something like 260 fps for a slower playback if you want it with a slow-mo effect, but you really only need 30 fps for a good quality video

    Yeah I use premiere and encore
    and sound booth for the music
