Only thing that comes to me is that this only can be happening in America...dont know why but think that way...a mistik of weird and preety much sensless...and think this may have something to do with Katrina....its helpfull to have a children that can swin, or at least float, but dont think i would put my kid up to that...crying alone in the pool was preety wacko.......

it felt pretty uncomfortable to watch that kid just lying there crying. too be honest i would want my kid to know how to handle itself in the water from an early age, but i'd do that by teaching it to swim and by watching it to make sure it wasn't left alone by a body of water

It's important to teach kids they have to fend for themselves since their parents are untrustworthy.

To all those who were upset by watching the kid crying...I'm almost certain that they're taught to do that. If you noticed he would relax and seemed completely content in between yelling...and he wasn't crying...just yelling.

smart kid...I'd be proud if that were my little brother or kid.

I believe it's actually illegal to have an unfenced pool like that in most of Australia.
But teaching your kids to swim is still a really really good idea.
Though infants are more likely to drown in the bath. The odd one climbs into the toilet too.

if all the babies from china swam over here, america would be doomed. homeland security only does so much... i suggest we fish for babies in our local creeks, rivers, lakes, etc, capturing them and relocating them to Nebraska...
