i don't really like where i live all that much, i'm close to NYC which can be good but i don't really like the climate, i am a colder weather kind of guy. i think i'd rather live in norway, or maybe iceland, someplace where it doesn't get over like 70 degrees would be nice

I live in hercules, ca. It's real mellow out here, but I can't complain. 1 hour to SF, 2 hours to Sac, 3 to Tahoe. Not too shabby, plus theres a lot of great stores in the Bay Area.

I always joke around about moving to Alaska and homesteading. It's the last place in the US that you can homestead.

Where I live (Florida), its the worst for a longboarder: Sunny and hot + people hate me (because I longboard). The people are mean, when riding in the bike lane, they act like they are going to run us over, and then flip us off. I can really feel the pride and courage in that. But, Florida is a great place to go out for a skate with freinds! :thumb: Oh wait, I dont have any.

Well ,western washington is nice, lotsa hills and a good music scene. except in the winter when all it does is RAIN!!!

south Florida is probably better than central. There's plenty going on with the surf/skate scene. There's places to longboard, you just gotta find em.

two weeks ago someone got shot two roads down from where i live. i'd rather live somewhere where people dont get shot.

Being in Northern Virginia the traffic is getting worse everyday and new neighborhoods being built all the time. Plenty of new hills that way but the traffic is just terrible. I prefer it over where I used to live (California) There, my mom would't let me talk to my neighbors because they were drug dealers and there were a bunch of college students across the street with scary dogs.

So yeah, I like where I live.

I live 2 hours to the surf, 2 hours to the snow. I live in a middle sized city with 300 000 people so you have trouble going places and not knowing someone, but you still have the anonymity of a big city at the same time. Easy to drive around, but the public transport sucks. No trains, just hourly buses. 5 major skateparks with heaps of mini ramps and little spots to session in between. Nice people and a very pollution free city with plenty of parks, and a law against high rise buildings.

I really wanna move to Canada.

Really? In that case, er, Long live the King! Also, I hereby decree that we're all off to an Indian Ocean island where we shall build a skatepark, so we can surf in the morning and skate in the afternoon. Or the other way round, depending... :thumb:
