It's about bike messanger races and other urban bike races and extreme bike riding stuff. Very cool stuff. The site has vids taken with helmet cams during some of the races. Made me want to go get my bike fixed.
i just rode around downtown van on my bike today, its alot of fun weaving in an out of traffic but you gotta keep your head on a swivel cause people drive like assholes here. its great fun, the only thing that sucks about where i live is that after my bike ride, to come home, i have to ride up 3 straight blocks of atleast 15degree or more incline.. its good for ya but it sucks... alot... when your doing it, but you feel accomplished afterwards.

it makes you nervous? you're in a ton of steel protection.. im more nervous about getting hit, and getting run over (hasnt happened yet -knocks on wood-).. everyone needs to share the road and drivers need to quit pretending every street is the formula 500. we all pay taxes so therefor we should all get to use the road.
that looks cool if i had the skill(or the guts) to do that through that that kind of traffic i would. i dont care when bikers on the road but mostly becuase alot of the time i can be one of them.
i like to dress up like a plant and shoot my pollen load from my stamen at girls pistils while they are across the bed. we are chlorophyllies. don't hate.
[jizmnky] 12:32 am: lol you dont know my gf... when it comes to other girls and me she
grow horns, spins her head 360*, and throws up projectile pea soup vomit in my eyes...
Bah, I've seen better riding by Queen Latifah in Taxi...
hahaha these vids are awesome. I can't believe the Mexico City video, i know what its like there, the lanes are smaller than normal and at those speeds the possibility of getting cut off or sandwiched between two cars was like 99%.
my favourite vid had to have been the one where the guy cliped the the silver car (civic i think) and then he kept running from it haha as much as that is an asshole move to make, its great
that's pretty crazy. I've seen this site before but it gets me feeling funny every time I watch it. I cycle to work along some pretty scary roads and I love weaving in and out of the cars but when they're charging around on the wrong side of the road and going right though red lights it makes me nervous.
[Birdman87] 10:23 pm: think of all the little boys you've touched...

[Derv] 6:50 pm: MY NAME IS DERV AND I AM COMING OUT AS A GAY MAN
[Derv] 10:54 pm: i just saw my dad watching porn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, it makes any driver nervous because we have to watch out for little tiny objects which are people on bikes, racing through traffic.
And yeah, maybe everyone does pay taxes.. But I disagree that people should share the road. There's shoulders, bus lanes, sidewalks.. Whichever there is, use it.
Keeping in mind, that most places, riding a bike in the road is illegal.

You're wrong. Most everywhere bicycles are "non-motorized vehicles". There are specific exceptions to allow them to travel on sidewalks when it is safe (for pedestrians) to do so, but otherwise, you're required to be in the street.
And don't fret about watching out for me. You'll see me. I take up the whole lane. You'll be back there honking, and I'll be smiling because I know you see me and aren't going to kill me by accident. If you wanna pass, just use the other lane. That's what it's there for.
(Those vids are crazy. They're gonna hit a ped or a car or something. Running reds into cross-traffic is suicidal in DC. Maybe you can get away with it in NY.)
haha well let me be the third person to tell you alademuerte that you are in fact wrong.. as previously stated bikes must ride on the road and not the sidewalk.. ever been to a city and saw bike lanes on the street? i spent my whole afternoon riding my bike downtown in the street and i probably got passed by a good dozen cops (hell i even rode past the vancouver police station a couple times) and none of em even looked at me. now if i was on the sidewalk weaving through peds thats a different story..drivers should be nervous it makes them more cautious and less oblivious to what is going on around them..
as hex said if you dont like having to share with bicycles then pass us in the other lane... its that simple, not all bikers ride like those guys in the video. i only do when its gridlock and weave between cars that are parked.. not moving.
There are a lot of bikers in tucson. they pretend they are cars. they take up the whole lane when there are bike paths and shoulders on the side. Apparently they are to "Core" for that. Then they get mad when some old guy runs over 9 of them at once. We should share the road though, bikers get whatever is on the other side of that white line.
Keeping in mind, that most places, riding a bike in the road is illegal.
I'm not aware of anywhere that I've ever been where its illegal. In fact, if there's no other access, riding on the freeway is often legal (at least in California). But everywhere I've lived or worked, riding on the sidewalk is illegal...
