You obviously are oblivious, but you are in fact embarrassing yourself with rhetoric like that. No one with any taste or education takes any of that post-modernist BS seriously.

Hey to all you folks on Flickr! If you are interested, a contact of mine has put a contest group together, offering a freshly CLA'd Minolta SRT 101 as the prize.
Check out the group here.

This group has been created to give away a nice refurbished 1970's vintage Minolta SRT 101 camera and lens.
The person submitting the best photo by August 11th, 2009 will win the camera.
Why am I doing this? Because I love restoring old cameras and passing along the joy of film photograghy.
Rules:
1) No more than 3 photos per entrant
2) If you already own a working Minolta SRT camera of any kind, please refrain from entering (honor principle here)
3) Photos should preferrably be tagged with some technical specs. e.g. type of camera, lens, or type of film.
4) All formats welcome to include film and digital
5) Absolutely NO HDR images or any other kind of photoshop abominations
6) Photos must be submitted by August 11th, 2009
Voting to be carried out by group admins/mods
Have fun and good luck!!
A lot of my shots have been coming out (seemingly) underexposed lately. Could just be me rushing. We'll see, it never hurts to replace them, and I needed a set for an empty camera anyway.
Oh, Lexx, I am not a big fan of Xpro but I really enjoyed the warm tones the Tungsten balanced Xpro brought in your shots... So I'm going to give it a try myself, I think.

The color shots I posted above were taken on out of date Fuji T64 E-6 (now discontinued), then cross processed. The negatives came out this really funky ooze green, which obviously when printed gave this awesome orange/red.

I have a good few rolls of expired Kodak 320T to test out. (I got a bunch of unwanted slide film a while back that needs using). I have not cross processed before... so I get to try and trick the Wal-Mart employees.
Well to start off I know nothing about photography. I've never really taken pictures but it's one of those things that I have alwais wanted to get into. I went to the mountians last week with some friends and thought I would have a chance to get some cool pictures. None of these are really edditd so let me know what you think. Pointers, what you like, what you dont like, any direction would be cool. Also could anyone recomend a good free edditing program.
Makes me think of stair way to heven by lz^
