I think the composure in the second one is better, however, I like the highlights around the cloud in the first one more.

The first one the suns rays are blowing a hole through the cloud..it seems. The second shot I get a better sense of the whole shot. And thats why I put'em both up.

I agree about the hole, but the reasion I like it is because it's more........extravagant.......than the second one. Which I feel is what you were aiming for, I may be wrong though.

Right now I'm working on long(ish) exposure.
Trying to do the whole lace river thing.
Any tips? C or C?

I think I need to play more with shutter speed. Hopefully get more variation in texture of the water. I like the extra detail of the moss though, I think the green is the right hue.

Did you guys know that Sasquatch was originally sighted near Santa Fe, NM?

im stuck with a Cannon Powershot A75 or somethin like that.. so im limited to... most things.

out fishing the other day.. the crazy like, jappo rising sun rays were WAY more vibrant in person

My girlfriend took this picture a while back. I played with it a little in gimp to get the sky all white, and upped the contrast to make the silhouettes easier to see.
