This happened this morning at the intersection by my house. I missed the FFL copter but thats OK. I guess a female went on the copter and there were 2 that were killed.

[dave_p] 2:59 pm: uphill, in the snow
[dave_p] 2:59 pm: both ways
[Ogre] 2:59 pm: you had hands in your day? We had four feets
So this weekend was my sister's wedding.
She lives in Birmingham, which is where I went to university.
I hated Birmingham because it's all concrete
and there are pigeons everywhere (not the healthy ones, the type that are missing all their toes)
but by some miracle my sister found this beautiful lake hidden away from the hustle and bustle of Britain's second biggest city. I didn't take my camera to the wedding on purpose. This was taken the day before when it was cloudy, on the day itself the sun was shining and this lake looked like heaven
and this was taken in the church the day before too
This is the suit I had to wear. I didn't see it till the wedding day. My dad warned me it was awful, I thought it was pretty badass.
After the wedding, at which I didn't take a single picture, I decided to stick around and see some friends I'd not seen in years. I remembered what I both love and hate about the architecture here
First I met up with Gemma. I only see her once a year and we never have small talk, it's all big jokes and stupid faces and cigarettes and whiskey and causing trouble in small Cafés
I crashed with Gemma for a night but I couldn't take it much longer. Gemma is in her last year of uni and it's all coming to a head with stress, so she's moved into her friend's house so they can work together. It's just a shame 8 people live there and no one does any cleaning. I've been out of uni long enough to have forgotten what a house full of rotting rubbish smells like. There is no photo that could give you any idea, so I had to leave. Coincidentally I went from one of the cheapest student areas in an already cheap and rough city to one of the most expensive postcodes.
I lived with Ollie in the first year of Uni. He's ADD, ALWAYS laughing and joking, he's the University Student Union President and my sister's boss. The girls love him. He met this girl like the day before and she was smitten. I liked her because she let me take photos of her all night and she never complained, but then when me and Ollie get together it's always a laugh so I guess it was pretty comfortable and natural. And that's what's so cool, because we only see each other once every couple of years.
