Default GM's Flexfuel 34' Chevy Coupe

Basically I'm in love with this car. The attention to detail in the cab is perfect. The leather door panels/ bomber seats. This car is also featured in Hot Rod and goes into more detail about the carbon fiber grill shell, custom one off rims, ecotec four banger.

Really look at the work done to this car, it's amazing.

At the end of the week I get the go or no go to build a
34' Coupe of my own at work.

heinous rims. needs better paint. calling it eco-friendly is a travesty. (How does cutting gas with 15% ethanol [which is possibly worse for the environment than gasoline] make it so great? its still a 500HP car burning 500HP worth of energy.)

Other than that its freaking sweet, I love that grille. Those rims would look good on something else, but that cries out for some like 128 spoke wires.

Cause you know all those hot rods rolling around the netherlands are soo grand. Do people in the netherlands have cars? I thought they still rode around on horse back and pirate ships?

I can say that the tinted windows, lettering, pin stripes, don't look good. Also it is a proper hot rod just with new style... thus the carbon fiber and ecotec. To many people have built hot rods with 350's and cragar ss's before. For GM to even build a car like that takes balls cause there are so many amatures, pros, old timers that try to come up with a new swing on a old theme.

It's about those numbers for less money. E85 is cheaper to produce than gasoline. Eco friendly by using a process which is less harmful to the earth than gasoline or disel. There have been dyno test run using E85 vrs 87 octane and over all the E85 was producing over 10% more hp. Can you honestly say that cheaper gas and more power doesn't sound apealing?

You are right what is the different if you are making 500hp you are still buring up that much energy no matter what fuel you use. But what if you are going to be buring 500hp no matter what. Wouldn't you want to do it cheaper?

I dont really think the whole flex fuel thing is a viable option right now. I mean people gotta eat... That Tesla Roadster on the other hand is the future.

    What's wrong with pirateships?

And what the föck does taste or kick ass cars have to do with the fact that I live in holland. Do you live in the same county/state as that car? Remember that the US is bigger that Europe. So you should compare the entire European rod scene to the entire US rod scene to make anny sense.
I don't think that pinstriped smoothed out tin can can be called a '34 annymore. There's probaly not even 1 screw original. It's just a new car. And there are better new cars made. That thing is more a Boydster than a Hotrod. It's just to smooth

And we have rods in the lkand of cheese and legal dope too here too.

Major downfall here is that, by law, we HAVE to have fenders and can't have stuff sticking out

    Basch has a good point...

And lie he said, I'm sure not one screw in that thing is original...

It's a 2L ecotec with a huge turbo.. It's gotta be one horrible sounding excuse for a green '34.

I wanna see an old Dodge (maybe a '31) with a 6.7 Cummins running on bio-diesel.
    That would be uber-rad.

Well I'm sure it still uses less fuel/ energy than a big block V8.
