Kinda bummed since my girlfriend went home to Scotland and I probably won't see her again.

Kinda bored because I have nothing better to do than sit at an internet terminal in Bonn. All my friends have gone back home to their respective countries.

Kinda excited/impatient as I am going to Amsterdam on Monday.

Kinda in pain as I busted my knee (again) on a skate to Siegburg on Sunday.

Kinda proud that I skated 3km, had a beer, climbed a hill, carved up Siegburg's sloping main square, caught the tram, skated a further 2km before finally putting some ice on said knee.

Would this count as mixed feelings?

Oh, I am also hungry, but guilty for being hungry as I saw "Supersize Me" yesterday, and now I am scared to eat anything resembling unhealthy. I even boiled my Bratwurst (no euphemism intended) instead of frying it last night.

Nah, been more of a harsh week. But I am getting better, and I get to talk to my girlfriend by email, and the fact that she has friends and family over in Scotland to look after her cheers me up a bit.

Supersize Me was awesome, kinda like Bowling For Columbine in its tongue in cheek mixed with serious doco style. And unlike Moore, it is (probably) factual to boot. I guess you can't fake puking up a supersized double quarterpounder meal out the window of your car. Not easily. Also, Wesley Willis is on the soundtrack. ROCK AND ROLL MCDONALDS! ROCK AND ROLL MCDONALDS!

Bonn is about 100kms by road from Siegen (I think). It can't be that far away though (ignore my sig about length of Rhine) as it is on the Sieg river, and that joins the Rhine about 3km downriver from my apartment. [/b]
