    YES! I want one so badly. A friend of mine when I was growing up had one, she was like a gorilla but was the sweetest dog ever. An old guy in the neighborhood I used to live in would walk around with his, they seem like badass dogs and nobody would ever break into your house if you had one.

    haha dude im getting one of those no doubt when im older they are friking awesome. tehy are like bears but nice. my aunts friend has one i saw it once it was the best dog ever

    Two newfies, a husband and wife live on a mountain side house where I snowboard. I always stooped to say hi when i was riding by. They were very nice dogs, and they liked me more than arbor.

    reminds me of a Saint, my brother has a saint and shes the best dog ever, very chill and lovable and caring. from what ive heard newfoundlands have a similar temperment so sure they seem cool!

    I like my dogs and cats the size of cats.

    I would like one of those that is about half as big though, that would be friggin' sweet.

    They weigh in at around 100 - 150 lbs.

    I think they were originally bred for water rescue, along with draft work... in any case, working with people. So they are very people (and kid) friendly, and a sweet disposition is actually part of the breed standard ^_^ So yes, very sweet dogs!
