I was watching the openning ceremony for the 2004 olympics, the thought of having events for street luge or longboards would be badass. One can only dream that one day that would happen.

I was talking about those downhill races, where guys compete to win something. Like those gravity game or whoever sponser them. And I kinda see your point with the kids and detaste for sports. Though I think if one is willing to rebel against something they like, that is plain foolish.

I think dh, luge and slalom would make great olympic events. The shortboard groms would not be affected, because they are superior in their own little minds. These disciplines are inherently competitive, and on the international level, too.

Of course, drugs are nice too...
