Chopper Bikes

Anyone made any?? Like a chopper bicycle. Any mods form BMX's?? Weld up your own???? I've seen the Kona made one, but i want something more drastic.

I think they're called Stingrays or somethin, but they're bicycles done up like choppers & have fat back tires & tons of mods & ****. look on ToysRus' site & youll find it, then you can get the name & check out the company's website.

ahha volvo guy maybe i will bring my bike out for you on sunday

it's a 70's ross apollo (3 speed...internal hub gearing....oh baby)

my roomie has also made two bikes both 8.5ft long mmmmmmmm
and then another chopper out of an old kuwihara i think

haha the first big chopper was made from an old frame, scafolding we stole from a near by school, all held together with JB WELD

boe, those are awesome. back in the early 80's late 70's the puerto rican kids in town made the most badass choppers and all kinds of wierd stuff. they would flip the frames, extend the seat posts and handlebar necks and ride higher than that dude in the pic.

you ever seen a swing bike? they were like those 5 speed choppers but you could unlock the rear wheel so it would pivot on a spring. hard to explain. this kid in the neighborhood could ride one handed wheelies with the rear wheel unlocked for like miles while swinging the bike back and forth.
