Well I just picked up my stuff and moved from Spokane, WA to SoCal for the summer. Don't really have a place to live after Monday, but I got a job at a local coffee shop and I start Monday. I think I am crashing on a friend's couch for a few weeks and then after that who knows? The only people I know where I am living (Santa Ynez Valley, 25 minutes north of Santa Barbara) are two friends from college and people I have met over spring break and the two weeks I have been here. Should be an interesting summer, to say the least.
But, so far I have managed to go mountain biking, hit up the beach multiple times, learned how to drift at speed, and ridden in a bowl for the first time ever. Since then I have gone back to the local skatepark (which is freaking sick btw) and I am learning to ride my longboard around the park. And the weather today was around 70 degrees and completely sunny with a nice breeze. I guess I can't really complain...
Last week was my first week of summer and I spent the whole thing traveling to Kansas and then to Portland for a concert. This week has been a little bit of work, cleaning #### up to get ready to move (), sitting around and skating with some new people. I'd like to go on a road trip somewhere far away but gas is so damn expensive I think I'll just be chillin' around town all summer.

oh yes the Royal Burger. Heart attack in a bun. The big fatty juicy burger patty along with 2 slices of america cheese, bacon, mayonnaise, a fried egg, along with vlettuce and tomatoes to make it healthy looking. ill send you one but ill do it without the mayo so you dont get salmonella. actually with the tomato recall, ill also hold the tomatoes
Denny's does it using cheesy hashbrowns instead of tomatoes or mayo. No pretense of healthy there. Call it a Slamburger. Foreshadowing of the defib to come.

i really dislike dennys and ihops and all breakfast places. I myself am not much of a breakfast eater and i will usually eat a salad or a yogurt. Those places are SOOOO incredibly greasy even more so then red robin. I got some sort of skillet at ihop once and literally the bottom of the plate was covered in grease. it had more grease then it did anything else. Ive been to a lot of other local breakfast places and usually i find that i have to go to the bathroom for a long time after every visit.

Red Robin is just as greasy. They just use so much more salt it doesn't show as much.

and thats why i dont eat it unless its a lettuce wrapped turkey burger with a salad and no croutons. one ramekin of ranch at red robin is about 600 calories (its made with buttermilk, mayonnaise, and the ranch powder). One single cheesestick is rumored to have 25 grams of fat.

I LOVE the Royal burger. To add to my gastrointestinal irony, I have a couple of diet sodas to go along with it. effin yum!!
In fact Nancy pancy, I will go to lunch there today. (day off) I have a Red Robin in Thornton which is 8 minutes from me. Not only will I get to eat a burgur that will back up and stretch out my colon, I will also be able to lear at young women in a leacherous and loathsome way. (Who are not much unlike yourself Nancy)
