Just wondering if there are any car enthusiasts on here. I want to get a car but I want it to have stick shift and rear wheel drive. I plan on racing and drifting it so nice acceleration would be good.
I know something about cars just have no clue how to look for specifics of what i want. Any recommendations are awesome and just talking bout cars/racing/drifting too.
Pretty much any important(or domestic) with high end torque and rwd, HAS to be RWD, would be good for drifting. it's going to have to be a higher end car (i.e. not a civic unless modified) You'll want to stifen your suspension, possibly drop the car, stiffer sway bars, etc. improved handling, torque
basically any important 4 banger, possibly some 6's. Check out formulaD cars for ideas. 240sx is super popular
This thread reeks of failure...
Build your own car. Find a mid to late 60's beast and build your own.
I will never regret building my GTO or my Chevelle...
They're classics for a reason. You can't find true American Muscle anymore.
Hell, give me some $$$ and I'll build a motor for you...

WOW dude. Yeah get an important car. Not imported or anything, not the opposite of domestic, but Important. Make sure someone cares about it. Make sure it's making a mark. Oh and definitely get an RX-7 if you're new to cars. Great idea. That way you can learn how to rebuild an engine after taking a few hours to get it out. Do everything you can to make sure your insurance is extremely expensive. Supra is such a cliche ricer car.
Tagsrover, you said that a civic would be acceptable after saying that it needs to be RWD. Uh, keep talking out of your ass. The more you throw in words like torque and HP!!!! the more IMPORTED you sound. Get it? Imported, like how you messed that up before?

You mean inexpensive or is there some subtle sarcasm I'm not reading. And what is a good price range for RX-7?
Sweet video. My friend has one of those 240z. As for me it would be my first car and RWD/stick are my priorities in finding a car like that. So still searching.
P.S. Damn the Honda NSX is nice. Check it out if you don't know it. Never knew Honda made such a fancy car.
