when i went to port aransas in may i bought a 20buck wooden skimboard in a gift shop. total gnar and the graphic is a surfing iguana. i dont live by the ocean so its in my room now gathering dust. but when i go to the ocean agin its coming with. back in port aransas i was skimmin along and i went out further so it was a foot deep and i couldnt float anymore and put my foot down right on a damn man-of-war

my foot stung for 3 hours after that

and i had to pour vinegar and meat tenderizer on it lol

once i got a rock stuck in my foot, open wound + salt water = fail

i like skimmin. its really big on LBI on the jersey shore. there is an annual pro comp that is the biggest on the east coast. i ride a victoria carbon polyvac. its good fun.

that would be so fun to go to, too bad i just started, but i picked it up pretty quicky i can stay on until the wave is gone, i want to get into waves, it would be fun going to that comp and just checking it out, watching some tricks, and i ride a zap wedge i think, might be a different model but that doesnt really matter, it so fun anyways.

I attempted skim boarding on my kneeboard running off a 2 foot platform on a boat. I failed miserably.

I skimboard. Just got back from the shore, went down for a week and got some skimming in. I ride a zap something. I don't even know if they make the model anymore.
