It took a number of dubious recounts to rest the title away from Enema Combatant and Al Franken but the votes have been bought certified and it's a Chi+Spiegel New World Order from here on baby!

I suspect the bears will join you where you are if history repeats itself.

Wow. I had also read that the overall brightness of daylight has decreased. hmmm?
With all the polar ice melting this could be a good thing? or should we start reminding people not to eat the yellow snow? A big thaw or a big freeze? Which way works best to bring about the end of civilization as we know it? I mean pop-culture is doing a pretty good job but is just a little on the slow side. Although it is picking up speed.
Don't eat the yellow show. mmm-kay.
because yellow snow is bad.
mmm-kay.
Re: Moving to the equator sooner rather than later
Remember, 2012 will be here before we know it at which point all those little fluctuations in the magnetic field will culminate in a pole reversal and the Earths crust will shift so the North Pole will suddenly wind up where Cleavland now sits.

lol "global dimming"
BBC had a 50 min documentary on this...and something about, how due to the "visible" smog that we've created over the past 150 years is slowing global warming...but due to the new "clear" smog, global warming is increasing or something. idk, search it on youtube

SWEEETTTTTT!!!!!
That means I'll be within driving distance of Santa's Workshop right? How sweet will that be. I mean I already live within driving distance of Santa Claus, Indiana and Holiday World as it is and that rules! So living in driving distance of Santa's workshop without having to move to Finland or wherever will just be great.
As long as I can survive the shifting process I'll be set. It'll be even better than living next to a ToysRUs distribution center or China. Just imagine all the goodies you can get dumpster diving at Santa's Workshop. Oh boy oh boy. and just to think I have been waiting patiently for X-Day to come. Now I get to look forward to the North Pole moving next door. As long as Yellowstone doesn't blow up in the process this is going to rock.

A bed is being prepared for you on the island of broken Chinese lead laced ecstasy toyz.
If you enjoy Speculative Science Fiction that is based upon, you know, science and history, then you should look up Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle.
With regard to this particular topic, they wrote

I don't know anything about "clear smog", but with clean air acts and the likes, we've cut back on smog production by quite a bit.
Maybe by "clear smog", they just mean greenhouse gases?

The Earth is slipping into a new Ice Age, even while zealous Greens and "Eco-Fascists" put a stop to any technology that might lead to global warming. There's only one group to whom Alex can turn, one group still attached to the ideas of progress and science - Sci-Fi fans!

i don't remember the specifics...something about the "new" pollution is a lot of vapors instead of smoke and smog. like i said, search "global dimming" on youtube
