Critical Mass....

Anyone ever participate? Would it be wise to bring a longboard and join the event? I would most likely go to the NYC end of month event.

you wouldnt be the first amigo, ive been to a couple in vancouver and theres usually a few longboarders out and about, even a unicycle or two. you dont ride very fast anyways so it would be easy enough to keep up with everyone, id say go for it whaddaya got to lose? worse comes to worse you can always duck out at any time

Yo adam, let me know when the next one is, I'm down to join in. Any excuse to mess with traffic in NYC is good to me.

And critical mass was created to bring attention to non-motorized commuters, which is something longboarders can definitely associate with.

He says that "he was outside of the bike lane", also that "he was making cars (they're invisible I SWEAR!!!) dodge him, and take measures not to hit him"

It's funny how some fools think it's revolutionary or something to do Critical Mass. The fact that it happens monthly sort of takes away the whole "activist" aspect of it.

you havent lived till youve seen a six foot five tweeker do it with a huge truck door to a 320 pound redneck and watch em fly 4 feet before he hits the ground. haha.. ill try and get a vid... maybe we'll finish zombie proofing the ride beforehand.. itd be a good test.
