Re: Cheating
Depends on the situation and what all she does. If she just made out with another guy while wasted and told me and apologized I'd be pissed as hell but would eventually let it go.
But fucking someone else? Hell no. I have never cheated on a girl, will never, and if a girl ever cheats on me she's a filthy whore to me and I'll do all I can in my power to sleep with her mother/sister/best friend. You can accidentally makeout/kiss someone but it takes two to screw, you have more than enough time to realize what you are doing and make it stop. If she can't do that.... it's over.
And in your case- why the fck would you go back? Do NOT fall for her sht, she WILL do it again. She's just one of those girls who can't be alone, tell her she ruined her chances of ever being with you and bang her sister.
EVERY girl I know who has cheated on her current bf has done it more than once.
and mawsko you're an idiot. sorry, but she will cheat on you again. shes's cheated on you, what, like 5 times in 2 years? ever hear of "Fool me once, shame on you, fool me five times, I'm a fcking idiot." And one of the times was with your friend?!?!?!? That kid would be dead to me....

Re: Cheating
I would never get back togather with a girl friend if she cheated on me, that just sets up paterns for the future.
i would definitly stay with my wife if she cheated on me. though, i would then probably go to jail for killing the guy she cheated on me with... just sayin, thats how it would go down, and i wouldn't regret a bit of it.

Re: Cheating
Once a cheater always a cheater = not true. But in the end you gotta trust your gut feeling if the other person is going to stay true to you.
A dog can die if it eats a chicken bone. But, put a chicken bone in front of a dog, and best beleive its going to eat it.
Believe that.

Re: Cheating
If i had a boyfriend who had sex with another person then its definitely off. If that boyfriend went out on a date, its off. If he kissed another girl it's maaaybe forgivable depending on the situation. IF he got wasted out of his mind and made out with someone it's probably off but i would look at the situation. I just date hte ugliest guys possibly so they would worship me and never think about anyone else. Works every time.
Ive made out with a couple Gay boys when i was drunk off my ass. Does that count as cheating?? haha my boyfriend knows about it and is not happy but its not something to dump me over. And you cant get Aids from kissing!

Re: Cheating
There is so much fail in this thread. And I hope our 'fish friends from Europe are getting a good laugh at our expense.
This obsession with "cheating" is an American hang-up, an artifact of Puritanism and other cultural baggage (machismo, sexual insecurity, misogyny). It has very little to do with the healthy functioning of the human animal.
So your wife/gf cheats on you and you find out. Okay: was it 1) a way to act out, get your attention in lieu of, say, telling you face-to-face your realtionship's got problems (in other words: cowardice and avoidance), or was it 2) the result of yearning for new experience, exploring their sexuality (for lack of a less nauseating term), natural wholesome horniness, etc.?
If it's option 1, and malicious, and there was lying, then that's grounds for a clean breakup, if not some of the more mercenary actions listed above.
If it's the second case, and your wife/gf/lover comes clean in a timely fashion, and the dalliance was not with your dad/uncle/little bro or best friend, and if there was no ongoing affair, no emotional deceit--if, in other words, your beloved still loves you and wants to be with you, but just found him/herself unable to resist his/her most primal urges--it's time to take a deep breath, chill, and talk it through.
Possession is not love. It's not even possession unless backed by violence or the threat of violence, however subtle. And demanding that another person ditch forever one of the things that makes us human (the attraction to other humans and the ability to act thereon) is a form of emotional violence. And violence, in all its forms, is bad.
Can we talk about skateboards now?

Re: Cheating
Archy, i think you are confusing possession with commitment. my wife and I have a commitment to eachother, and if this is broken then there are consepuences. has nothing to do with violence. though, i can not argue my point any further because it would have to go down the road of morals, and thus religion, weather it be puritanism or secular humanism, we cant talk that here.
but also, if my wife, or gf is too weak to withstand her own urges of attraction, then she is too weak for me, and how can i trust her to ever do anything else that may go against what is easiest and feels best at the moment?
