Photo Assignment #3

Rules:
-Only one entry per photographer for each assignment
-JPEG or TIFF only!
-Edits are allowed, but need to be kept at a minimum.
-Post pictures in that assignments thread.
-Behind the camera, not in front.

Voting:
At the end of every entry period all photos will be posted for public voting. There will be a poll to vote on what photo you think is best and the winner will be posted in this forum for people to see and comment on.

Well, here we go. Me and my dad taken in mid June on the side of a mountain about 6000ft up, near BC's Della Falls. The snow banks in the background bank about 40 feet up the side of the cliff.

I see that as even more of a reason to partake in the assignment. So that you can grow your skill as a photographer and try a new area you do not have expertise in yet.

Great shot fiesta, can you possibly share your ISO and other settings. I can never take shadow photos like that.

Update:

I'm leaving for winter break to a place with limited internet access until the 2nd or something. So I will close this assignment on the normal time and leave the poll up. I might be able to close it but I might not. After this assignment is finished, there will be no more until 2009.

Thanks for sticking with it.

Can't wait for these entrees.

Also, I'm taking your assignment suggestions. But it will come out of no where, I wont release the next weeks assignment until every saturday morning.

Well this contest is for photography, not pictures of you. Re-read the rules. Sorry, you can't use this photo. Do you have another? One that you took?
