Around here, we have a local microbrewery - Granville Island Brewing - that has cheap beer (not QUITE as cheap as Molson or Kokanee or Labatt) and it's damn good.

totally forgot about granville island! delicious beer, I could drink it pretty much anyday.
Ever heard of West Coast U-brew on Clark? you order a type of beer, and it can be customized. They brew it, and you come in and bottle it with whatever you want (they have cans, with the machine that screws on the tops. they have a thing for putting bottles on old empties. anything). Some pretty decent beers there, and I think it generally runs about $115 for 40 litres?
40s are where it's at. Not only do you get street cred at EVERY PARTY as the guy with a fowtee, they're dirt cheap and get you pretty good after one of them. The perfect pregamer? I think so.
Bud Light plz. First time I had Olde English I decided a whole flask of Burnette's on top of it was a good idea too. What a terrible night...

depending on how much you pay for a sixer of 16oz pints, its normally a better deal than buying 40's if you break it down per cent per oz. and always pbr.
