Personally i dont really watch/read either at the moment but i prefer manga cause i can move at my own pace and dont have to sit and ####### have to wait for the goddamn fillers.

Any given story-telling medium will have the same elemental flaws of any other story-telling medium. That flaw is
that it will always be accessible to horribly written stories and terrible story tellers...and hacks. (Though, that flaw
is also one of the strengths as the less accessible a medium, the less use it will have, and less successful it or any story
told in it will be--in that form.)

So, saying that anime or manga is good or bad is like saying painting, music, books, or cinema are good or bad.
You can only do it from the standpoint of naivete, insincerity, or irony. The number of people aware of which
standpoint they are speaking from increases as you traverse the list from left to right...

For clarity, I consider those who are blind to content and judge only on their intense love or hatred of the form
to operate from these viewpoints. For example, I hate CLAMP style artwork. I absolutely abhor it. So if
Evangelion had been a CLAMP project, with no changes to the story other than art style, I would never have
watched the whole thing. So, I admit there are probably stories being told in that art style I would enjoy, but I
deny there existence by refusing to watch out of disdain for a purely cosmetic style choice.

Therefore, my stating that I hate CLAMP anime and manga is a little of all three standpoints--though a different
form of irony that would be expected...which is delightfully ironic...
