Relationship problems... ANYTHING GOES!

16 is too young to be dating seriously. I've heard "we will be together forever!" (and various forms of that phrase) millions of times... Hell, I've said it once or twice myself. All those people that said that, including me, aren't with that person anymore...

I'd rather skate than date. Fat chicks be easy and are generally really cool people. Find a "buddy" and stay single until you move out on your own or with a roommate, get a steady job that pays the bills... THEN thing about settling down. Otherwise, you are setting yourself up for supreme failure, heartache, broke, and lost a ton of time you could have been skating.

I knew a dude that had sex with his girlfriend. He was 18 and she was 16. She wrote that in her diary, her dad read it and Mike got 2 years for statutory rape, a c0ck load of legal fees, and was forced by court order to go around his neighborhood and inform everyone that he was a registered sex offender. Funny how he is labeled the same as a 50 year old man raping 5 year old boys by force. Only difference? Dateline NBC.

I heard that stuff too. Simply untrue. You think you will be the one outta a million that make it. I did. Everything wass great, your getting everything you want. But you WILL drift apart. I hate to sound like a grouch, but people naturally do, especially on the younger side when you havent expierienced as much (i.e. me in this story). All it leaves you is a mouth full of hurt, heart break, anger, and 2+ years of your life wasted with said girl. Skating is better than relationships. Both are great, but skating will never hurt you like a girl can. But it will never love you as much either. Just remember that, and have fun. The day you wake up and instead of thinking "i wonder what *insert gfs name* is doing/thinking/etc...were gonna be together forever" and think "i cant wait to have fun/live my life", is a glorious day.

I've had girls tell me they loved be on the 3rd date before... No lie. I was like... "Whoa!! Slow down speed racer!" I've never been the first person to say it. I don't plan on getting married. I'm gonna be one of those 60 year old losers with no family that still skates... like Chris Yandall... expect I'm gonna encourage kids to wear helmets.

The last girl I was "with" said "I love you" before we even had a real date, after we had just hung out a handful of times. She was very emotionally immature, and now she's with my best friend. Even when I'm with someone, I still have a hard time accepting the whole "tied down" thing. I like sleeping alone. Sometimes, I will go an entire day without saying a word and it doesn't bother me. I don't like listening because if it's not skate related, I just don't give a ####. I wish I was different, but the more I resist, the less happy I am. So, I'm happiest solo.
