serious board buying tossup: help ?

hey kids
i'm having serious trouble deciding which longboard to buy.
i'm a girl, 14, around 110lbs
looking for a nice cruiser board with a bit of flex, good carving, little bit of DH, sliding.
you know, just typical stuff. nothing too extreme.
looking at bustin (love the design choice), loaded dervish/vanguard, apex 37, landyachtz
riding a sector 9 at the moment, love it but looking for an upgrade.

suggestions ?

id go with the dervish seems right up your alley.

my friend got his off daddiesboardshop.com for $285 i think. thats alot sheeper than their site.

theres also the vanguard. i wouldnt go apex37

I assume ur from Australia therefore it's probably better to get it from Australia. Check out

I would give hop a call and order through him instead of off the internet. You might be able to get a better deal and he'll probably be able to help you answer some questions that you might have.

i had a dervish as my first serious board and its great that's why so many people have it. boardshop.com.au is selling the old graphic ones for a cheaper price.

maybe the comet fsm as well?? its still cheaper than the dervish when you bring in over from the states. it doesnt flex though.

i don't understand why a lot of the threads i go to regarding comet fsm says that it has some flex. After trying out G's fsm, i find there's no flex wutsoever

hey pheebs,

i'm the guy that guitarchick was talking about, i'm selling the apex37 deck for $170 shipped, practically brand new, was only used for a week. Pretty cheap considering you can only get the apex37 from the US and the deck is going for 140USD+shipping(60USD).

Is a pretty sweet deck to carve around and it's really light (lighter than the dervish) so it's easy to carry around. If you decide to get the deck, all you have to do is get a set of trucks, wheels, and bearings which can all be obtained from the list of shops fender has given you, and you're good to go.
