Canberra Longboarders!

So Iv been longboarding for nearly a year, and have got some guys at my college into it.
I also build boards, and Im looking for new cats to skate with and new cats who are interested in custom decks.
Also, if you now of good spots in canberra give a shout.
My fave spots are the convention center carpark in the city, five floor garage bomb!
The very end of drake brockman drive turns into stockdill drive, and the end of that is free of trafic and pretty good for speedboarding, not heaps steep but there are nice turns.
And of course the storm water drains all over the inner north.
If you have any secret spots or are looking for new people to skate with give me a tingle.

I like the run down on captain cook cres. Its so nice at like 11pm at night to cruise on the road down that , what college u go to?

Im going to bomb stockdill later today, havent actually skated it yet but ill post how it goes.

Yeah I'd be interested bout how it rides. I'm at bundah college right now , there are like 3-4 longboarders here but only me and one other regularly ride lol

Tried the hill.
Its nuts.
So much faster than i thought it would be.
I didnt have the balls to do the whole thing, but its actually good enough that I think if there were ever to be an ACT speedboarding event, stockdill drive would be the place.

Old posts like this make me so happy.
I've been looking for some new places to skate. I will definitely be checking out Stockdill Dr.
I just hope it's still a nice road to skate on.
