Hahahaa, Steve, your idea cracks me up!!

    I can imagine it too.
What we need is a MONTAGE, of Kooky,... in his tuck, fighting the wind and rain,... until eventually he gets his tuck soooo tight hes like,... cutting through the wind.
The he looks up to the sky in defiance,.. like Arnie,...... with this mighty roar...

    RRRAAAAAARRRGGHHH
    TUCK YOU !!
    I BREAK YOUR PUNY WIND!!

well james hopkin sent out the wheels yesterday arvo and they somehow turned up at 8am this morning. now i know what its like to be a longboarder in america.

haven't tested them out yet cos its raining. but once it dries up a bit, i'll let u guys know how they ride. they feel sooo sticky to touch thho. even the 83a is nice and squidgy.

got heaps of cool stickers too.

The latest pressing seems to have worked!!!!!!!!! im so happy. There are two cracks, but they appear to have fully filled with resin. For some reason, they resin on the top of the board has hardened properly, but the bottom hasnt :S not really sure what the go is there, it was all one batch of resin. i have it sitting on the roof here at work in the sun, which seems to be doing the trick. should have it complete by the weekend

just took em out the front of my house (flat). they sure are sticky. its hard to really test them on that setup, on a flat road tho. the only bigzigs i have ridden well enough to compare are orange and i don't think they count. i sure can't imagine that they would be easy to slide. i don't want to try sliding just yet. i wanna get a bit of use out of them to help break em in and harden them up a bit before i try anything like that. don't want to chunk them this early. they look and feel like pretty solid wheels tho. i reckon they would last longer than zigs. but i'm probably not the one to make that assumption really.

thats good to hear ash. glad u were able to get atleast one board done. did you figure out what the problem was?

i just took the new wheels to the bank and back. did some hard carving and some small hills. they are soooo smooth and have heaps of rebound. they seem to be pretty damn fast too and roll a bit further than my 76mm flys. u should definitely get some ash.

ive got some 83mm flys, wanted to get 4 or 5 3mm wide grooves put in, about 2 or 3mm deep. ill keep ya in mind if thats a possibility dude, should only be about 20 bucks or so in postage back and forth.
