I tell ya that PPS slalom board is sweet, I bet you love that one too, but your own work is friggin A1 in my book.
I love the hot rod flames on that drop thru as well. Man Id love to make something like that for my nephew.
Its also so cool you put those links in of the contacts youve made in board building here in OZ. Im getting together with my dad to try and make a composite drop thru in the next few months. Hes just finished making this awesome all wood speedboat and can easily help me with fibreglass, resin etc.
Thanks for giving us the contacts man, Im really startin to love this thread.
Hiya JB.
I sent the details for CDS off to my Sydney friend. Ive gotta say that bombing the hill leading into Manly sounds like suicide to me, but if you guys on the northern beaches are up to it I have nothin but mucho respecto.
Jb because your the biggest Sydney poster here at the fish why not show us your fave board or post some photos of this jam youre talking about. I love the idea of organised rides. Steve and Ben have one goin on every sunday in Hobart. Think you guys can post pics of the skate days? ( either the Tassie crew or the Sydney crew?)
Man, that would be cool.
Nayph, me, Pete, Alex. The crew is a fair bit larger, but not everyone can make every session. Alex is the only other longboarder, but he's an exchange student (i.e. travelling around a lot on weekends/holidays). So it's pretty much just me going off and finding nice hills while the others 'flip. I've tried converting them, no luck there haha.
My usual carpark. It's 7 levels, but it's one of those designed as two halves offset from each other i.e. 14 split-levels. Up until very recently, it was mostly empty (down to about level 2/3) so my mates would practice tricks on the top level and I'd bomb it. I've never been booted out of it either, but the others have a couple of times.
Sorry to hear you've lost your car park.
We occasionly kick kids out of ours. And have developed a reasonable relationship with some of the people who work in it.

Nice one jb_
That car park is wicked. And it will be cool to see the resurfaced thoroughfare. Hope they dont have an explosion of skaters that leads to skateboards being banned.
Love to see photos of the session at Harbord, I used to live there and Queenscliff and Manly.
Do you live near Manly? I loved the North side of the bridge when I lived there.
Sorry Steve. Last photo I saw of you you werent sporting that hardcore goatee. (or were you?)
Good to see the Scribers on some real decks. Im gonna have to make a deck for mine, with cut aways.
