www.foamsales.com.au have the foam needed but on in perth but you need to look for xps with a 70kg/m3 i think ill check though maybe a bit lower than 70kg.

http://www.australply.com.au/index.html for ply email them and ask for distributors in your state.

www.timbecon.com.au have the glue as well.

http://www.fibreglass-resin-sales.com.au/ have alll your fiberglass needs and the old dude is amazing. but im sure you can find it in your part of the world.

for timber theres another place in Qld i cant remeber the name timber trends i think and they do alot of boat biulding materails. which is what you need to search for on the net. so many hours.

Thanks, I've been looking for good wood for ages now.

Did you know the roarokit pump is a wine sealer?
you can buy the EXACT same pump from some wine places?

Davey, thats an awesome quiver man.

I tell ya that PPS slalom board is sweet, I bet you love that one too, but your own work is friggin A1 in my book.
I love the hot rod flames on that drop thru as well. Man Id love to make something like that for my nephew.
Its also so cool you put those links in of the contacts youve made in board building here in OZ. Im getting together with my dad to try and make a composite drop thru in the next few months. Hes just finished making this awesome all wood speedboat and can easily help me with fibreglass, resin etc.
Thanks for giving us the contacts man, Im really startin to love this thread.

Yeah we gotta keep this one alive!

This would be a great place to "store" aussie contacts in general.
Which has been well started. Thanks Davey!

    Hiya JB.
I sent the details for CDS off to my Sydney friend. Ive gotta say that bombing the hill leading into Manly sounds like suicide to me, but if you guys on the northern beaches are up to it I have nothin but mucho respecto.

Jb because your the biggest Sydney poster here at the fish why not show us your fave board or post some photos of this jam youre talking about. I love the idea of organised rides. Steve and Ben have one goin on every sunday in Hobart. Think you guys can post pics of the skate days? ( either the Tassie crew or the Sydney crew?)
    Man, that would be cool.

Nayph, me, Pete, Alex. The crew is a fair bit larger, but not everyone can make every session. Alex is the only other longboarder, but he's an exchange student (i.e. travelling around a lot on weekends/holidays). So it's pretty much just me going off and finding nice hills while the others 'flip. I've tried converting them, no luck there haha.

My usual carpark. It's 7 levels, but it's one of those designed as two halves offset from each other i.e. 14 split-levels. Up until very recently, it was mostly empty (down to about level 2/3) so my mates would practice tricks on the top level and I'd bomb it. I've never been booted out of it either, but the others have a couple of times.

My uni has just ripped up the main thoroughfare thru campus (along with its associated parking) so now that carpark is much fuller The good side is that the main thoroughfare will go from a potholed, patched up, uneven mess to a skate-tastic, vehicle-free new boulevarde

Sorry to hear you've lost your car park.

    Nice one jb_
That car park is wicked. And it will be cool to see the resurfaced thoroughfare. Hope they dont have an explosion of skaters that leads to skateboards being banned.
Love to see photos of the session at Harbord, I used to live there and Queenscliff and Manly.
Do you live near Manly? I loved the North side of the bridge when I lived there.

Sorry Steve. Last photo I saw of you you werent sporting that hardcore goatee. (or were you?)
Good to see the Scribers on some real decks. Im gonna have to make a deck for mine, with cut aways.

I think it was obscured by my arm, from memory.

Greg, on the right is going to start making decks for the two scribers pictured, He used to make snowboards. I bought my first deck from him.

That's a surprise. I guess that we're all used to big wheelbases.
We've so got to get some nice hard wheels for the phoenix.

It was great we hit two hills, a short, steep straight one, and a longer one that winds around a whole heap of streets. What's really cool with the 2nd one is that the straight-line distance between the start and finish is pretty short, and there are some steps at the bottom that take you almost all the way back to the start! The others also did some slalom, then Jeremy did some awesome sliding. No gloves, a wheelie bin lid instead :P

I took my camera along, and then forgot to get any pics :P damn

Some pics from one of their previous sessions are here: http://charliedontskate.com/bb2/viewtopic.php?t=2480

The carpark is actually the same one that's in this vid: http://www.oldskoolteam.com/ost_vids/carpark.wmv

I should take and post some pics of this new "plaza" thing next to the campus bookshop. Ledges, benches, and perfectly flat, smooth pavement. And right next to it, a long, smooth, gently-sloping boardwalk thing heading to the train station where there used to be two sets of stairs and a heap of uneven concrete. Oh and cruising along it generates a huge rumble so everyone know's you're coming :P

I swear, there must've been a skater among the architects/designers. there's no way the skate-tasticness of all this new stuff is purely by chance :P

Do you live near Manly? I loved the North side of the bridge when I lived there.
I'm in the north shore area, so a bit inland from the northern beaches but still not far away at all. Harbord was a 20-minute "spirited" drive through Saturday arvo traffic, Manly would be a little longer.
