Re: Ausie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi
it will all have to do with quantity and at the moment Im only making 8 full sets.
The price will be calulated at the end,And they will be for worth it, imho.
but they will be around the same as other CNC trucks on the market.
, you will hear about it when they are done,
but for now I just want to know what people are interested in having,.

im guessing there gonna be called "kooky trucks" or something??
you should get it engraved into the hanger, like the khalani ones do. but might make it more expensive but yeh.. just an idea

Re: Ausie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi
fair call kook, like i said though- i'd love a set on my new speedboard....all its light weight CF goodness would be a suitable place for 42* 200mm CnC hangars.

Re: Ausie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi
Pino, if you haven't already - read the width section in the Randal FAQ
It all comes down to foot positioning and the board width to access it.
A wider hanger will be more stable in a toes forward tuck, but will require more foot movement to access full lean. However it will be possible.
wide hangers are a great way to increase center stability without tightening your trucks or lowering the board further. Both of which reduce traction.

Re: Ausie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi
pino I dont need to know how the things work, sort of got that part down,
just wondering if its a fad thing thats all,
for me I like the 190s and think thats plenty of stability, etc
It just seems to be popping up ( why isnt there 200s out there)
and if thats what people want , then maybe I can make a contabution to the skate world.
So it looks like I`ll go with the 200s so far,,

I guess you could call me a designer. I've not worn one hat for long so to speak.
Helped design a game (Escape Velocity-Nova), designed fonts, made 3D models of houses, done graphic design, working for Randal/Breamo a bit at the moment, and doing a jewelry course at tafe...

Kooky, Id love some of your trucks, but at the moment we are saving for a holiday.
Maybe one day.
And 200mm must be good for running big wheels on a dropped deck.
Dont eat lead paint.

Hey thats cool,
Im putting 8mm hardend steel axles in, so they should handle wheels in the 80mm range.
I dont think 10mm is nessesary, as these shouldnt bend, they will be replacable.

Im talking 97-130mm, but dont worry Kooky, Im not going sideways enough to bend axles.
In case you didnt know, my skating style is VERY mellow.
Dont eat lead paint.

I wouldnt really like to say at this stage how 97 flys or 130 wheels would go on these. that will have to be tested , K-rimes says that most people dont bend axles only Canadians , These will be high tensile so will act like 10mm anyhow,
Ive just come back from the machine shop, so they are going into production after the ANZAC holidays,,, I`ll be doing all the finishing to help keep the price down,
Ive got some extra base plates being made for all the 190mm hangers Im currently using on Randal plates,
Hey Leadfoot the 190mm hangers on 50* randal plates are really nice and carving with the right bushing set up,
