Re: The Kiwi Thread (and no, not the fruit)
I'm moving to NZ from Vancouver, BC as of next week!
I'm staying in Auckland for around a week and then catching the train, or getting a ride, down to Wellington where I'm hoping to settle. I'm gonna sign up to neednotollie, I've been lurking there a while. Just wondering, any other girl longboarders out there in Kiwi Land?

Re: The Kiwi Thread (and no, not the fruit)
yo greetings to y'all.
just wondering if there is anyone else in auck region making there own boards??
i made a couple when i was in europe but could only bring one back..
since the postage prices and exchange rates are so high its more eco.. and funn to make em myself.
if i can make 4-5 i will probably start selling them on trade me and around aucks. but to get my money back they'll be around $70 to start with. also custom built boards will be a possibility...

New Zealand is awesome, i live in Cripchurch which is alright. The hills are quite far away but i normally just skate round the uni and stuff. I see quite a few other riders.'
Check out my homemade boards, i would like to hear what you think...
Keep it real New Zealand

Re: The Kiwi Thread (and no, not the fruit)
Didnt really want to make a new thread on this, allthough i will if no one replys.
What kind of plywoods is everyone using to make their boards in NZ, i have used Gaboon and Meranti. Im looking to find a supplier of Baltic birch or rock maple veneer but can not find anything anywhere in NZ. if someone could hook me up that would be mean. i live in wellington by the way, sweet sweet hills
