lol, i've put together a short one too - just of me and a mate hitting up the 24 hour car park in town!
[edit: i apologise for the quality - it was filmed on my cell phone - and the music in the background - sorry about that too!]
oh, and for sure we'll be careful if we ride at your spots down there. i know its hard enough finding decent places to skate - let alone actually convincing the owner/staff that you're not trying to tear up the place!

Did they chase you with the car? Last time we snuck in, they shut down the lift and made us walk out as soon as we had got in, It seems they have beefed up security at all buildings in town so the only one you can really skate is the Wilson 24 Hour Car Park on Cashel Street (next to the Hotel Grand Chancellor I think). Just make sure you only ride there after the attendant has left (about 11pm most nights I think - maybe later?) and get ready to run out the back exit (onto Hereford St) if the security guard turns up... which happens quite often when drunks from the clubs lose their exit cards! It's good fun though!
Just interested what did you make that board out of?
Rimu and something?
Keep the good work up!
William

Just thought I'd chip in on the Kiwi thread. I live on the Kapiti Coast. If anyone is passing through and wants to go for a cruise let me know.
I work in Wellington and try to ride most days that work doesn't get in the way. usually from work around the waterfront with a stop at the Waitangi bowl.
PM, email or txt me if you keen to meet up

Well i thought i may as well make one thread for all us people in this beautiful country called New Zealand.
Here you can find other people to skate with, organize sessions, or just talk about things in general.
We should all go meet somewhere sometime and go for a skate. It would be fun.

You cant put a sentence in there and hope a picture comes up.
You've got to upload it to a web domain and then put the url for the picture in there.
cant see your pic shaun.. these forums are confusing to post on sometimes.
I have made up a design for the see through grip tape for Hobos new board he made, was supposed to suss it all ready for him to put on tonight, but got busy doing some surf photos.
Can't believe how well its turned out, so i am gong to make my own before spring... with his help.
Sold my car last week, so it means that sometimes I am going to have to board to work, just one big hill, (that I don't think I'll ever have the guts to bomb).. but then flat for 5 blocks to work, did the mish home today.. and got hooted by some young guys on their boards, hmm not sure if they were laughing at me or with me..
