I had a sick skate the other day.
I was coming back from work and had a mad tail wind. Was going about the same speed as the cars, but since i had a tail wind i wasnt slowing down.
I had to seriously foot brake coming up to intersections, other than usually having to just let my speed run out.
What has everyone else been doing?
Oh yes, i got a job in a music store!

Hey congrates on the new job,
Hows everyones boardbuilding coming along?
i haven't touched my tools for a month or so... been way too busy with study. pretty gutted.
kooky - nice discount you got there - yeah it confuses me why landyachtz is so much more expensive than elsewhere! i haven't tried the dh baseplate on my evo, but now you suggest it i might whip it off my brother's board tonight and do a few runs on it. as for the strikers, that's what my brother is rolling, so i'll borrow them too and give you a run down on how it goes as soon as i can!

The best place I've found (if they stock the brands) is boardsports.com. The price is awesome if you use the discount code from concrete wave (10-20% off normal) and the shipping is as cheap as I've found anywhere.
I'd rather buy of Mile High Mark, and have when I've had friends going to colorado, but he wont ship to NZ
Are u suscribed to concrete wave? do u no where u can buy it in welly?
Ive got a subsciption to the wave and the new mag is coming soon.I live in Nelson and Ive checked all around NZ and you cant get it here yet maybe AK on queen st . you can always e-mail Micheal direct from the add here on the fish.

yes, I'm subscribed. no, you can't get it in Wellington (that I know of). It cost me about NZ$80 for a 2 year subscription, although it would be a bit less now given our currency. I usually get it in the mail about 3-5 days after North America. This is cheaper per issue than most other foreign skate mags (even cheaper than Manual) and quicker to get here.

I found it in borders on queen st up here.... they always have it...
so i reckon go check borders out in wellys... its in town somewhere...
.. although 80bucks for 2 years sounds way better than $16 an issue!!!
