Joe thats cool so how fast do you go coming down, I just got back from a small straight run after cleaning my bones bearings ,its hard to gage speed at night but I reckon 60k, the evo startd to wobble a bit so it may have been more... or not but it felt pretty much like the fastist Ive been so far ,, man I was grinning all the way and when the wobbles started I was like no freeck`n way you gonna buck me off and I pushed down on the front and leant forward got into a tighter tuck and I was like come on show me the speed....it was good. this board makes you feel way more confident I carved out the bottom and if your reading this Nocturnal the dh base plate with the randall 180 on the front was nice and turny with a bit of speed Im lov`n it,

hey Nocturnal yeah Im lov`n this board, it carves great at speed, and I ride mongo so foot brakeing is easyer, I should learn to brake normal but right now Im lazy, I was out tonight but I think a bit to early there where heaps of cars still on the roads, I managed one straight run down my favorite hill with out having to brake for cars so Im happy, the wobble I had the other night happened again but it was a ripple in the road rather than the board playing up so I suspect thats what it was the first time ,this board is so stable, Im trying to find a good corner to practice going ,I was going to say down on but I want say that , so I`ll say cornering technic, you really need a point man.though.
anyhow go hard on the studies ,glad I dont have to do that, being an old guy those days are long gone,
Im so waiting for summer...
cheers

Yeah those bennetts look pretty sweet but their a bit to wide for what im looking for.

I have found a ebay store that sell truck and wheels package and i can get a set of midtracks, a set of tunnel rocks and some abec 7 bearings shipped for a bout NZ$150.

http://cgi.ebay.com/TRACKER-MIDTRACK...QQcmdZViewItem

They got a bunch of other packages to you should check them out:

yeah that sounds about right... i have a mate who lives nearby and he is pretty sure there's a few good runs to be had behind the hospital.

i'm on holiday now, so when i'm not up at mt hutt, i'll check it out one evening.

nice avatar by the way...

The strikers are nice now that they have been somewhat broken in, they hug the road well and seem to drift nicely, Ive been a bit sick this last week so today was the first chance Ive had to get back on th evo, NICE........I am still being amazed at how my set up makes me want to go faster, Im still grinnen so yes if you want some I think theyre a great wheel,Im useing 84a just so I could brake into a slide better than the 78a gumballs, but I havnt really had the need to yet, Im going to throw the gumballs on tonight to see how that feels again .

well I have just finished a short run with the gumballs and man they feel really loose compeard to the strikers maybe it was the trucks they havnt been tighten up yet, but I was a bit thrown by it so the strikers go back on tomorrow .any thoughts as to why they felt weird ,I have to look into this,

hey guys, i just got back from spending six days in hong kong... and can i say just how flippin' lucky we are to live here! sure, we may not have quite as many streets to skate as we would sometimes like, but boy oh boy, i didn't see anywhere that you could even consider skating over there. i don't even know if it's legal to be honest. and yeah, new zealand rocks. i'm just glad to be home... with my boards!

Ha! dont sweat it Id say the same thing to my boys if I didnt know the OG, anyhow do what ya mum says Its all good. But there are a few nice paved streets worth a bomb or carve, Collingwood, washington valley rd, Wiamea rd if your keen but it has to be early around 6-7am before the cars hit it, lots of little streets around the back of the church and collages.if your more adventurous and can get out to richmand there are new streets up there that could be worht checkin out. Nelson or though a small town has heaps of cars so take a helmet and your probley better off going out after 8pm or early morning,
