New Zealand Skateboarding Association?

Hi folks,

I haven't seen or heard of anything like a national body to represent skateboarders.

Is there one?
If not, is there any interest in establishing one?

It would have a few benefits for us like:
* it would give us a bit more credibility with local authorities
* it presents a professional image if we're trying to organise events
* looks good if we're trying to attract sponsors for events etc
* would be a great way to connect the loose network of skaters out there

What do you all think? We could start the discussions here and carry on at Tauranga
