yeah i was thinking of a board that might be able to do both, but there arent that many. Do you have any suggestions. I was also thinking of a road called Aldgate Valley Rd which is up near my mates house. From what i can rememeber its pretty good with some fast sections but there are two or three places where you need to push. It might be a bit slow though... the last time i did it was when i was a wee noobie
maybe the earthwing supercharger or superglider. both very good allround boards (so i have read). u should also try out matts kebbeks. they are really good for cruising & carving and you can set them up as a sweet DH board aswell. it really depends on how you set it up. its probably a better move going for a DH board first because you already have a few cruise boards that you can put up for, for now. u might even find that it feels better cruising on ur kebbek than on the boards u have. thats what i noticed when i went from sector9 to trying out the kebbek. I went the Evo first, then the dervish (both basically opposites). i found that having a DH board meant i could learn the some of both styles, then polish my skills once i got a cruise board and DH trucks. and ur already one step ahead cos you already have ur DH trucks (crails).
but hey, its up to u.
I'm wit matt, i'd probably melt if i went skating during the day at the moment. plus i'm working in the morning. How many levels is it?

Yeah i think the kebbek boards sound nicee. The move for a dh board is also probably a good one, seeing as id rather have a properly made and designed board for dh than for carving.
Cmon guys its not that hot... lol
im going surfing down at middleton afterwards anyway.
The carpark is i think 5 levels and weve only been there once. It was ok even though we could onnly turn left safely (having left the right hand glove at home) It alright, you can pick up some speed if you do it properly. Would you reccomend the Evo over the kebbeks? I was also thinking of getting a rayne.

i went for a garage sesh last night and that was hot enough for me. got one of my mates to come along for the first time. i think he's hooked.
have fun tho tomorrow morning and be careful of the cars. some ppl drive ridiculously fast in those carparks. do you guys wear helmets?
I don't know if I would recommend the Evo. I mean i'm happy i got it and its a great board and all, but i kinda wish i looked into kebbek or rayne. i'd look into rayne a bit more. i don't know much about them cos i have never ridden one, but from what i have read they make some nice boards. i would check out the Carbon Fiber Hellcat - Dee-Lite if you have enough money. a lighter board is something i wish i had looked into. but back then i didn't know and care. i just wanted a board. the new Deemonseed looks nice and i have heard a lot of good things about it.
But do a bit of research for yourself before you buy anything. you might find something completely different that takes ur fancy.

WOW that dee lite is hot... but my skills probably wouldnt justify a 300 dollar board. i think the deemonseed looks good, but im still undecided as to which brand, kebbek or rayne. I think i like the rayne a bit more, but i dont really have any experience with either so i dont know.. Why do there have to be so many options.
I think i might have found the track btw, its up near where i live and starts up at the top of springfield then comes down onto delamere with enough of a run-out. I think you put that road on the map, meaning to do the one a couple down, 'roundabout rd' is what we call it.

It is a difficult decision, but look at it this way; which ever way you go you wont be disappointed because both brands are very good. You wont know any different until you get both, so i'd go with the one you personally like the look and sound of best. And once you have got it you wont care, you'll just be so excited to ride the thing. I reckon my next speedboard would probably be a rayne cos its a brand we (my crew) don't have yet. always good to a bit of experience with a variety of brands i reckon.
what road is the track on? wouldn't mind trying it out myself.
make sure you try it first urself. u cant know completely whether its suitable until u have ridden it.
u need to try out Linden Ave. it caters for novice to experienced riders, so don't think that it is a monster of a hill cos it aint. its only fast when u start from higher up and u kick super hard at the start. it would be perfect for your project.
ps. won a bid on ebay for some nice leathers earlier tonight. i'm just hoping they aren't gonna be too small, cos the jacket is pretty small. only $100, so i couldn't resist. so stoked.

yeah, well i wanna start doing some faster cornering, so i know that inevitably i will come off when i start doing that sort of stuff. now i need to get a fullface. unfortunately jensons USA don't deal with paypal and thats the only way my dad will pay over the internet, so I might have to get one in adelaide. do you know where i can buy fullface helmets like urs in adelaide?

Nice, are the leathers one piece or two. Yeah i rode the hill the other day and it was pretty gnarly, im not any where near good enough for it yet, need to practice some cornering first.
Where do you practice.

they are 2 piece. I'm going to bid on another set thats about my size later today that is a 1zy. leathers my size dont come round very often at a good price, so i'm getting both just in case one of them doesn't fit. then i can sell the other to my mate who it may fit.
We have tried a few places for cornering. There is a nice right hand corner by the torrens next to Portrush rd that we have hit a few times. i find toeside drifting extremely difficult and unfortunately i think it is because of the corners we have been trying. they don't suit drifting. All the other cornering i have done is in the two garages in the city. they are perfect for learning to corner, especially the hungry jacks garage. I wanna search through the hills for some fast corners tho.
