Sweet, ill give you the directions tomoro sometime, im probably going to give the run another try soon. If its not posted in time, just head up delamere and then turn right at the first road, then just follow it up to the top.

also, any news on the little comp u organising for that project? I'm pretty keen to get together wit u guys to do some racing. haven't done street racing with a group before. met some random guys in a garage last thursday night, who had a mix of longboards and old school skateboards and we all raced each other. it was awesome fun to do it with double the size we usually do it with. we need to get you and ur mates out one thursday night. that would be sweet.

YES definately we need to do something. I need to make a couple of boards yet then the comp will be organised and i am going tob buy the demonseed complete but need to wait a little till my friend gives me some money so i can give him the trucks, wheels etc. He's buying a board off me.

Oh and this guy is making me pay him money because he almost ran me over in the flying fish carpark down victor, cos when he ran over my board it fliked up into his car and left a little scratch..

And to make matters worse he was a pommie victorian... AHHH

last week after the garages, we tried old belair rd. fastest rd we have done so far. i only pushed off once and easily hit 60. i could almost get 70 if i pushed at the start. pretty scary, cos the corner is tighter than what we are used to for speedboarding.

Dude thats a gnarly hill, did you have any issues with crazy drivers, cos there are some nutter out there who go absurdley fast.
Every time i go down there i think about how good it would be for a race rack...

How do you stop at the botom, it kinda gets steeper and heads onto the roundabbout doesnt it?

nah, we haven't looked at any more of that rd.
and no i didn't have my leathers yet when we did it. made it more of a rush.

Are you sure you cant come surfing sunday, weather report says its gonna be clean and mid sized, none of the choppy washy #### from last time.

Oh sorry forgot to answer your question about the timber lol

By what i know, and im going to do some more ringing around tonight, we can get a 2.4 x 1.2 sheet of 3mm 3ply hoop pine for about 50 bucks, thats enough for two boards.

I would need a sheet, my friend would need a sheet and if you wanted to make your board longer than 1.2m long then you would need at least a whole sheet.

My friend and I will be getting some fiberglass as well so if you want some of that to strengthen up the board... just ask.

The longest you can get out of a 1.2 x 2.4 is about 48" economically, that is there isnt much leftover wood. So if you dont mind loosing those extra inches then you'll have plenty for at least one board, perhaps two if youae using fiberglass. Depends what you want, the order will probably be placed later this week so get back to me if you can.

nah we didn't do it in the end. my mate had to get back.
how big are you planning to make the dancer? you will want some nice flex in it by the way. Otherwise it wont be an enjoyable ride. However you haven't been riding a dervish for the last 6 months, so my standards in cruise boards are pretty high.
I'm going away for a week this week, so tell me all about it once I've got back. I'd love to try it.
Also I'm planning on getting Jimz Stims soon. You reckon I could try em out one day when I get back?

Yeah its probably going to be about 60 inches long and 10 wide. Im probably getting the wood today, nothing fancy just something that will last a few months.
