Re: McAdelaide
Couple of points.
Graffiti on tree's, rocks or any other natural thing is looked down upon in the graph world.
Before "throwing up" learn to do it with some style, not in a 15 year old's hand writing.
If graffiti becomes obviouse in an area the first people to get pinned will be the those that skate the neighbourhood which will result in us losing a valued run.
Learn to skate before advertising a crew or you will immidiately give yourselves a lousy reputation and anywhere you put up you will be lined.
If you have'nt guessed Im talking about U.L.B cnts put up at Linden Av. Graffiti is designed as a mockery to government, concrete and social restrictions. It is designed for people with some knowledge about the way the world works and the injustices in that world. The reason "Tagging" has such a bad name is because school kids decide to play and write prolific filth, designed to do nothing but feed the ego. Street art has a HUGE culture, if you are interested I would encourage you to research it and become aware of what people are doing. It has very strong ties with skating in a symbolic "stick it to the man" sence so it's worth knowing about. Until then and until you learn how to write properly I would suggest laying off the nature bashing, especially if you wish to keep Linden Av.
Peace
Dani
Who needs surf, who needs snow? These concrete waves break 24/7 and it's always fresh powder on my local hills...
