im an easterner myself. there isn't much in the way of hills unfortunately where i am. but if you live closer or in the foot hills its not too bad. whereabouts in the eastern suburbs u at?

Yeah when this weather dies down we will have to get a skate sesh going.
As for the eastern Subs,... a lot of us like Hazelwood park.

Yeah mate i live in Rose Park, just near the city... my usual sesh is catching a bus up Kensy road, up to Penfolds, then bombing down.... I need something new+ some people to ride with! 8)

your in a good location. close to the city (garages) and not too far from hazelwood park (my fav cruise spot). next time you catch the bus up kensy and your on the 141, keep going until it comes to the last stop, which is just before greenhill rd. Adelaide Metro - 141 Timetable
then WALK down green hill, unless your a nutter or have perfected footbraking on dodgy footpaths the just find your way down to linden ave, off greenhill. (linden is marked on the map, in the linden park area).
thats what i tend to do. its a good day out if i got no one else to ride with me.
when the weather is better, we'll organise a session. (i really hope it dries up soon, cos i need my fix)

yeah i got my jimz. decided to go wit black, cos i'm a lightweight. unfortunately i haven't had a chance to properly try em out yet. i didn't like how squishy they were at first, but once i put flat washers on them it felt much more stable.
have you bought your dseed yet?

Oh and leigh my mate and I are making some more boards so if you want to buy some wood and some of our epoxy and glass then we can probably get going on one... Do you still want to make the dancer?

Nah the dseeds dont come in until start of June.. Then ill be ready to bomb some serious hills

nah we aren't going to be doing it for a while now. we don't really have the time, money or motivation to build one anymore. one day we will.

Oi Matty, The Parks... Is that the car park on the corner of alexandra and fullarton!!?? Im the kid that is ALWAYS skating there,,, making hell noise and usually getting yeld at, hahahahahahahah . I live next door to it. More often im on my street board due to the lack of hillls.

unless you have lots of money to spend, you'll have to watch ebay until one comes in ur size and price-range.
go and try some on at that motorbike store in the city. its on the corner of frome st on either wakefield st or pirie st.
what do you want the leathers for?

Saturday Morning Bomb Sesh

well i finally managed to tee up a DH sesh wit my busy mate. Matt (leadfoot) has joined too, so it should be an awesome sesh.
It will be up at "Eagle On A Hill", the people with the protective gear and dh boards will do a few runs of the whole thing and then we'll do some bombing on one of the straights. If ur worried about speed, the straight averages 50 in full tuck, without much push at the top. so its nothing serious.
its also a good opportunity to try each others boards out. so i'd love to see u laidians out there.
I'll update u guys with the time later, but it will be a reasonably early start. 9 at the earliest.

If you don't know where "Eagle On The Hill Is", its basically the old freeway. so as ur going up the current freeway, there is a turnoff just before you get to the freeway tunnel. just follow it up until you see the carpark/lookout on ur right. thats where we'll meet.

the straights are more long bends, but the best one is a bit less than a km long.
