Re: McAdelaide
Cheers for the birthday wishes dude. Travelling to Adelaide city from Murray bridge way it is the hill that leads down into the orange tunnels. Tunnels flatten out so that is where the run ends. It was done at some time between 1 & 3 o'clock. Only traffic is trucks at that hour but still gotta pick the run carefully. Fog can also be a problem up there when it is cold. As for speeds i would say 60 cruising and 75 max speed. Depends on your setup though I suppose.
Peace
Dani

depends on who is on guard. sometimes you get the wankers who love to hate us and sometimes u get guys that don't care at all. We just go to the next garage if we get kicked out.

Re: McAdelaide
awesome night last night fellas. met some new riders and had 8 of us riding thru the garages at one stage. all great guys too. again, we got kicked out of the hungry jacks carpark by the same dickhead security guard. and he must of called the cops cos they pull into the carpark just after we left. we all bolted. it was funny as hell. there were lots of funny little stories with security guards throughout the night.
all in all, best session so far. i'd love to do some streets with all 8 of us next time. would look sweet on camera.
can't wait till next session.

yeah man for sure. elliot was pretty keen to do it again this thursday, wasn't he? I'm keen to check out the JR's carpark that he was talking about. sounded pretty good and i'm a bit sick of the hungry jacks one. especially since we only ever get to do a few runs before we get kicked out.

Re: McAdelaide
Yea man Jr's isnt to bad, tis a pretty quick run down and two exits so you can mix it up a bit. I have never had secca trouble but it is pretty hard to get up in the first place as the paying station is right next to the lifts. No drama's though we will fit it in easy. Yea im pretty sure Elbow is coming next time. Think he's bringing Churchy and Stockley this time to and im trying to get some more to tag along to. What about this Thursday, whats everyone up to?? Think we should hit it up again, a tad earlier start though.
Peace

I was thinking about 8ish. We could always have a cruise around and meet you guys later thats no dramas. Give us a call whatever you decide to do (0419 369 251) but I will try to check Mcadelaide each day for updates. Either way Thursday sounds good.

Re: McAdelaide
yeah, i think the earliest we could do is 9. so we'll prolly meet you in there and since we really want to do the JR's garage, maybe start somewhere else before we get there. then we wont miss out if security is a bitch and kicks you out.
we really need to start organising some DH sessions too guys. So if ya'll have this weekend free, maybe we could do something on eagle? or something like that. remember people, its "Go Skateboarding Day" this saturday. (see below)
Go Skateboarding Day - Australian Skateboard Racing Association
Australian Skateboard Racing Association
check this place out people. its a sweet looking aussie forum site for us longboarders. perfect for organising events and stuff. soooo user friendly and growing in popularity quickly.

Re: McAdelaide
Well it seems to be official. Another garage session thursday night. Some of us will be getting in a bit earlier, probably between 8:30 and 9:00. it would probably be best to meet at Target at 9:45 again though for the late comers, same as last week. See if we cant get some city hills in to I guess. If you plan to come in earlier call me on 0419 369 251 and we can organise something.
Cya then

Re: McAdelaide
great vid Dani,...gotta love that kneeling stance huh?
Ay I've got a scriber in case youre still interested in trying one out. Im sure like me youd prefer a Kebbek or Landyachtz, but I can bring it to a sesh one day.

Re: McAdelaide
Hell yea I think it must be a brazillian thing the kneel stance. I was trying it today and it feels very succeptable to wobbles not to mention it's difficult to corner. Just another thing to learn though I guess.
Yea man I would love to try the scriber, Im very interested to see how stable it feels. We will have to organise something. I have been thinking alot about the Loaded Dervishes recently.

Re: McAdelaide
Well Dani, between me and Leigh, we have a great variety of setups. When we get a sesh going we can hook you up with something that you will love for sure, then you will be making an educated decision on a board if you are in the market for one.
I know tommorow is Go Skate Day. Im hoping the weather will give us a break. If not, then we should schedule a bit of a cruise in the coming weeks.
Id go to the garage sesions with you guys, but Im old and its past my bed time hahahaaa.
