Sweet.
nah i dnt have a pic of him, we met kinda randomly in the street soo. Thats great, leadfoot sent me a pm as well so there seems to be ome interest around. My crew consists of 2 ppl so we should go for a dh or garage sesh sometime.
sure, well im actually meeting up with matt (leadfoot) this weekend for a skate sesh. don't know where yet, but ur welcome to come along. i highly recommend joining us for a mid-week night garage sesh in town. not sure if we are doing it this week, but i'll contact u if we are. we get into town at about 9ish then go straight to the hungry jacks carpark. then we go do some dh later in the night at montefiore rd next to the golf course and adelaide oval. its a great session. anyway pm me ur email or whatever and i'll do the same aight?

hahaha. im sure there is a bigger population of longboarders in sydney than adelaide. however the good thing about adelaide is it is tiny in comparison to sydney, so there is more of a chance that we would meet and see other longboarders.
Maybe u should come over here to live.

Radelaide is the shiz... well kinda
At the moment my dreams of hitting some carparks are crashing cos of over restricitve parents so that sucks but yeah... Clipsals on atm.
Skate here in some places is amazing, sometimes its also amazingly ####.
We had a 10 crew stong of longboarders in SA. You'll usually catch them out at the cranker on friday/saturday nights, then hitting up car parks after a few beers. I'm missing those days.

Wheres the cranker?
Im only 15 so some things are kinda difficult like car parks but we manage to get some sesh's in.

yeah where is "the cranker"?
I did Grand Junction Rd last week. I know its a long road, but i did the bit between the lights that overlooks that reserve with the velodrome in the distance and the lights at the bottom with the big ford dealership opposite good old laser force.
I reckon I got close to 70 on the first run. So stoked.
I really wanna ride with more people tho.

not really. depends on if its a straight DH or DH with cornering. I know one sweet straight hill that we do during the day. but its is actually illegal to ride it because it has dividing lines/median strip. there is also a really good one for this up at brown hill creek and it is pretty safe and it would be easy to direct traffic if needed (cos there barely is any). not that fast tho, but it has a nice little chicane kinda thing in it. are you actually organising people to ride it or doesn't it go that far? because you would need permission from the council to block off the road for the comp and that would be impossible in this situation.
good idea tho and i'd love to be one of the riders.
Yeah i love the evo, especially now that i've got it on the randal dh trucks. amazingly sturdy at speed and i'm learning to drift and take tight corners with it which is good fun.
are you going to buy something soon?

Yeah i plan on getting some people involved, but it would kinda be more of an outlaw race. i was thinking a more curved road would be better, a bit more interesting. I know a few slower ones that fit that criteria. How sweet would Old belair road be.. if only it didnt have traffic .
Im going to get the CF insect mosquito soon and maybe, if i get a job, a demonseed or something similar. Probaly something to go with my crails.
Now that randal sells all the parts seperately i migh make a frankenrandal or whatever they call it and put it on a dh race. I dont know... too many options

yeah, I think the run at brown hill creek would be pretty good. only problem is that its really short, so the race would depend on how well you can kick off at the top. the other one I was talking about would probably be better. its called Linden Ave and its in the suburb of Linden Park. you should seriously consider it for your project, cos its fairly quite during the day, its a good speed for anyone who has little to no experience with high speeds, its smooth, has lots of runoff, fairly wide and almost a km long. its on the map. just look in the burnside/linden park area for the route.
I went down Glen Osmond with my mate last night. That was pretty fun, but not as fast as I thought it would be. Super long tho. it'd be perfect for the project, but its a late night run cos of how busy it is during the day.
the mosquito looks and sounds like a sweet board, but u wouldn't be able to do any DH on it. have you thought of getting something that can do both DH and cruising/carving?

BTW went to Brownhill Creek the other day (filming for work, not skating) and they have freshly paved about another km at the top. Im gonna have to explore the rest of the road now on my board.

yeah i was thinking of a board that might be able to do both, but there arent that many. Do you have any suggestions. I was also thinking of a road called Aldgate Valley Rd which is up near my mates house. From what i can rememeber its pretty good with some fast sections but there are two or three places where you need to push. It might be a bit slow though... the last time i did it was when i was a wee noobie
Ay nico
I got a Kebbek flushcut with Crails. You should try it out man.
Matty
ay matt. when the heat wave dies, we need to get together. i'm pretty keen to do brown hill creek again and the beach cruise along Henley. has the extension on the brownhill creek run made it faster do you reckon?
bowditch is loving his hairpin by the way.
