I've organised a pretty chilled carve meet tonight. I'll be taking the crew down a few local hills mainly around the Palmyra area. Nothing insane just basically a chance to meet other longboarders. Hopefully next meet we could go to some other (hopefully more insane) hills under guidance of another rider.

Wokinabox carpark Palmyra/Melville (Near HJ's and video store), opposite coles on Canning Hwy.

Pretty much open to everyone, but I really don't want to be teaching people what a longboard is and what stance they are. Open to all ages, seriously the more the merrier. I'd be just as happy chilling with 14yo's as much as I'd love cruising with gramps riding with two skaties strapped to his wheelchair.

All facets of skating welcome, bring your slide stuff if your that way inclined, I'd like to see some good sliders.
Hills are really cruisy, you'll hit like 40kph max prolly. Errmmm I think thats it!
Oh BTW I'll be the guy in the green/blue Gemini with the KS Scimitar and the tree griptape job, or my little S9 Sidewinder.
Last night we had an early crew, five of us. Then two left, then like 5 boys rocked up and that was sick. Haha pretty random night hey. Canning Hwy was sick... until some retarded offduty power tripper cop gave us an earful and rang up his onduty mates.
Ah well, we've got plans next time to avoid them. muhahaaahaha
No worries. We're thinking monday fortnight, should be straight after the uni break.
BTW Does anyone know how longboarding on roads ties in with the law? Is it illegal or is it legal or doesn't a law or any ruling exist? I'd just like to know so when we go skating I've got a printed copy to shut down the lame cops.
-josh- do you know any cops? I'd like to get a radar setup. The cops were at the bottom of the hill we were bombing but left before we started.
One hill we were bombing I was gaining on a transperth bus and the limit was 60kph, woo! In tuck flat out on a spongy KS Scimitar seemed pretty sketchy hey. Hell Master Splinter meditation required haha

Hey sweet, I've really wanted to see an Insect! Yeah I go to curtin. You've probably seen me terrorising the peds on my sidewinder, I usually carve down the libary hill on the way to the eng building too, stop me next time you see me!

Location is wokinabox, but if someone has some really nice hills they want to suggest maybe we'll move out on the night of set a new location. I'll try and scope out a new secret spot, keep you updated.

We might have to skate canning a little later i reckon, or find out when the 106 passes the area and skate after that. Cops changeover @ 10:30 (i think, can't really remember).

Hey guys! Just posting to let y'all know that I will be down in Perth next Christmas visiting cousins, bringing a board (of course!), but should I bring the fullface/leathers?
