cool. there a bunch of nice carparks around the city. perfect for riding after work. whereabouts in the city do you work? redfern for me.
I had no idea that their were any riders in Sydney. No one really gets into it alot. So stoked to hear that some ripers are riding the Opra House garage, Sickest think I have heard in a week.
Ahahaha yeah, us sydney riders exist.
Not many of us though =[
And SMan, the opera house carpark is incredible =D

Sydney
Australia
I'm visiting the area for a couple days, beginning on tuesday.
Anything I should check out near the Travelodge Wynard area? (intersection of York and Margaret streets)
I'd just like to take a push around during the morning sunrises before I actually have to play music in the festival...
- darling harbour area, hyde park, and circular quay, all 3 are nice smooth areas for cruising around
- in darling harbour there are also some nice banks in front of the exhibition centre.
- pyrmont bridge
- martin place
- macquarie st, heading north from bridge st towards the opera house. big empty hill (only the odd taxi or tour bus).
- the opera house carpark (the entrance is just above the roundabout at the northern end of macquarie st). also known as the 'spiral of dreams'.
- 6 level carpark just west of the entertainment centre (harbour st and hay st).
the whole city centre is a skateboarder's dream. pavement quality, whether on the road or sidewalk, is top notch throughout.
if you're free thursday night, we're having another session.
Skating around Darling Harbour/Cirqular Quay/Hyde Park/ the carpark behind the entertainment center is really fun. Just watch out on the 3rd floor for the freaky security guard woman/person.
are you still in sydney? shame if you're not, if you thought the weather was good then, it's way better now
skating again this thursday night. and the crew continues to grow. one of the dudes has designed a mad logo and prepared some t-shirts featuring it too
