Hey guys. Me and my mate need the help of a few boarders around the Dunedin area. We are currently doing a assignment for year 12 Media Studies, where we have to make a movie trailer. Me and my mate thought it would be wicked to do it on longboarding. Basically we want a few more boarders who could feature in it (no matter what level of skill). It will be based on a documentary about the community of longboarding.
Also any ideas for shooting techniques are welcome as we are very new to film making.
Dont know much about camera shots you could try the guys from bombardier longboards they have done a couple of videos. Also check out Need Not Ollie | Longboarding in New Zealand to find some more Dunedin boarders or video advice. They had a camera guy filming the race in Welly over the weekend so might be able to help. The user name for the camera guy is saint.
Hi,
Are you still looking for some riders?
I live in Wanaka, but I'm keen to come to Dunedin for a downhill session. I also have an helmet camera witch is pretty good for filming during downhill sessions (mostly when riding with other riders around). Let me know if you are interested. I'm mainly a downhiller, but I will be happy to do anything witch could help you...
