Re: The south-east Queensland thread
Hi Guys,
It looks like we will have to cancel that skate tomorrow. Let's move it to next saturday.
I'll come up to the car park runs on sunday. Looking forward to it.

Re: The south-east Queensland thread
Yeah to any new longboarders out there, come join us. I've only been longboarding for 2 months and I suck so just come along to any of our sessions and we'll give you hand with questions or stuff and try to get you going really well on your board. It really helps when you've got people around you.
Most of the places we hit are next to a train station or something but if you need some help getting anywhere just call us and we'll see what we can do.
Hope to see all you guys there this sunday or whenever.
Thanks
Nick

not too sure, hopefully the latter. sorry i couldnt come, had a big night last night, woke up 20 minutes ago. but something next sunday would be brill. more carparks? also i think i might have found a fun hairpin, fairly sketchy road surface and we'd be going the wrong way down a one way hill but still

Re: The south-east Queensland thread
Hi Guys,
Sunday was great. It was real fun skating with you all. I can't wait to skate some of the other car parks you were telling me about. I have some photos which i'll post tomorrow.
Here is the plan for this coming Saturday.
I'll be picking everone up for the trainstation at about 11am. Here is the central to robina train.
Central (Platform 1) Leave 9:54 am
Robina (Station) Arrive 11:10 am
Train Number TG32
There are a few hills around that top at 60km/h but are perfect training hills for boming but also fantastic crusing hills. I have about 4 spare boards that are perfect for these hills. They are undeveloped new estates so there is no traffic at all.
Let me know who is in.
Here is the hill

I will definatley be making sure I can go saturday
looking forward to it
shame the satellite picture of the road is so low quality (for me anyway)
and the google maps one isn't updated enough.
what is carrington road like? it sorta looked okay from street view but im not sure
also I will need to borrow one of your boards if thats okay.
